I kinda know what you are talking about, 'cause i got this crazy cousin, who, at the age of 30 something, married with a kid, decided it was a good time to rebel. So i heard all of it for the next couple years from my mom, who heard it all from her sister, the mother of my cousin. then it stopped. it feels a little weird, to not hear anything wrecking the home life at all. nice though.
ah, well, no need to feel awkward or anything. It's just that, well, to put it very bluntly, you are not special in having this kind of drama in real life.
That cousin of mine was the reason for my aunt's health problems, you know, high blood-pressure, heart problem, that kind of things. His parents and brothers and one sister bailed him out so many times. He ended up somewhere by himself, 'cause there is still unfinished business at home, and he cannot go back for fear of being thrown into prison or worse. But he is trouble free, more or less, for these couple years. And my aunt's health problem miraculously went away. The moral of this story, there is an end to every story.
