As I'm sure my fine fellow friends who formerly lived in Juneau recall, there is never anything to do there. There are people to hang out with, but just nothing to do.

Well, now that I live near Portland, I live in a place where things happen! Stuff! STUFF I SAY! Which is great...or it would be if I had anyone to do stuff with.

You see my dilemma?

She's 30, has a two-year-old daughter, just lost her job, and listens to rap besides.

And the real problem is, Voltaire aside, I have no one to do anything with. I need friends. This is what irritates me.

Again. I completely and totally lack anyone to take me to these things.

I'd feel like a dick asking dad to take me to a concert that he doesn't want to go to, especially since I don't bother going to his gigs. It's the making friends thing that I need to do. More so than go to concerts.
