I opened Photoshop with the sole intention of getting back to the business of iconing to the alphabet, but then I opened this cap by mistake, and this icon sprung fully-formed from my head.

This is awesome. To be honest, I am just learning about gradients and textures, and well setting my layers to much other than "normal" - but brushes, hue/sat, brightness/contrast have been my friends for a while... could also be that I mostly use PSP, though I have a perfectly good version of PS6 on my computer... Well, I'm branching out, and this helps. Thanks, hon.
