Hyunjoong kisses his neck, whispers an ‘I love’ before kissing his jawline and finishing the sentence with a ‘you’. Kyujong hears the sound of his heart shattering in his chest, his body can’t move suddenly, hands falling limply beside him on the sheets.

Hyunjoong sighs, moving away from him and whispering “I’m sorry,” leaving Kyujong breathless, stunned, and a little lost.

Sometimes Kyujong thinks life really is unfair.
