PLEASE leave the windows rolled up enough so that your dog can't fall out of the car. Or if doggie needs to ride in the bed of your truck, put the dog in a crate and secure the crate to the bed.

There is no reason for a dog to fall out of your car and be hit by other vehicles while you drive on the freeway. None at all.
