I love Darling Harbour, though it's been some years since I've been in Sydney :)
Sounds like you had a great night. The spontaneous ones are always the best.
Your painting sounds wonderful. Will you put a pic of it on the LJ?

I was last there in '96, I think it was. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the city, its Metropolitan feel, and I thought the Opera House was a marvel of design.
I will be going over to the States and Europe later this year, and I believe I will drop into Sydney on the way, as I'd like to see it again.
I look forward to seeing your picture. Aphrodite was always my favourite of the Greek Gods :)
