One of the first time I ever looked into one of those magnified 100x mirrors, I saw my face in a similar way and it was...frightening. But that's the reality of it. I can't stop studying these faces. Every line, every pore seems so alive. Flawless faces are boring. Flawless anything is boring.

Good thing "flawless" doesn't exist.

I agree completely! I think there will be a great, great backlash where modern fashion will be all about that. Sort of like what Terry Richardson is doing now.

this reminds me of when i was younger i used to put my face really close to the mirror and stare at my eyes and i would freak myself the fuck out

This was shot with my Canon 10D. I'm pretty sure with a Canon 50mm 1.8 EF II. Such a cheap lens, but so, so sharp.
