I am giving serious thought to it. I have citzenship to what Tucker Carlson refers to as our "retarded cousin to the North". For some reason, with the bowtie, I think he resembles my personal image of a retarded cousin.
In an altered mental state right now, I really enjoyed seeing/reading this. A rather daring post - and not only for the child molesters/Republicans bit, I might add.
Some details:
For me, the blue bumper sticker has a nice romance about it, being old and ironically relevant these days. Something to ponder in a few nice colors.
Once I finally detected it, the repetition of the individual photos in the montage at first struck me as "cheating". From the caption, I thought I was seeing a great glut of people, so as to be shocked by the conception of a great number. However, this subtle little detail of repetition tells me something completely different.
"Try to think of a new color. It drives me, laying awake at night, blinking hoping it will appear on the back of my eyelids."Do you mean a color nobody's seen before? If so, I think I can relate, as I used to think I could do this. As a kid, I would rub my eyes in the dark and put pressure on them with my knuckles. After about 30 seconds of doing this, I used to see strange

pardon me for being rude/blunt/or anything else. lol. but, you should try acid.... if you havent already. very mind opening and thought provoking. and makes everything full of color in motion. lol. much much better than shrooms, 2cb, and all those other drugs that make you trip. lol. wow. i am such a dork.
i love myself.
ps. - adam i live in texas again. we must hang out. again. lol. remember that one time we saw eachother at that party on 4th of july. hahahahhahahah. wow, i am crazy.
In similar circumstances, I might make the same recommendation. I am intimately familiar with the effects of LSD. :) Though I haven't done it in ages, more for lack of access to it than for any other reason.
For me at least, if a piece of art can provoke me into thinking things I might not ordinarily think, or to see things/ideas I might not normally see, then I think that art is "good".
A good hallucination can be very much like an engrossing painting or film, a sort of one-off experience that can profoundly effect the mind. The only problem is that it's a hard thing to duplicate and share with others, it being so personal. If I had to make a choice between hallucinations and art, I'd choose art, I think... having, of course, experienced a few hallucinations first! ;)
