Grampians - Fortress and Mt Thackarey hike

This weekend I went for a hike with the RMIT outdoors club to west grampians. I had never been to this area before. We went to a place called the Fortress butress and Mt Thackarey. The first day we hiked up to the fortress which was about a 600 meter ascent. Jess found it hard going and we went pretty slowly. We got to the fortress at about 3pm way
