NORWAY has become embroiled in a dispute over toilets and the nature of masculinity.

The matter blew up because a primary school headmistress tried to ban boys from urinating while standing up.

Oh dear! Now that really takes the biscuit! I know the little ones are not aiming properly... but they are only young (bless em.) I have heard of more mature lads not aiming properly, but will it be a matter of time, where restaurants and pubs will try enforce something like this? ... I think not.

There is nothing wrong with informing the parents, that their son is not aiming properly... as this leaves the parents to guide their child and help solve this little problem. As for making the lads sit down to pee... that is pathetic. If a boy chooses to sit or stand, it's up to them... not some teacher, with too much time on their hands. Besides, if she found time to write these letters home, maybe the time could've been used more valuably, by grabbing a mop and bucket and assist the cleaners with sanitizing the boys loos!!!

Sorry about the rant Dimpet... but I had to put my point across. LOL

"If boys are not allowed to pee in the natural way that they have done for generations, then it amounts to an assault on God's creations," thundered Vidar Kleppe, the head of Norway's Justice and Order party.

Oh, please. *rolls eyes* I doubt God, if it exists, really cares that much about the various methods of urination.
