So, as the time draws closer for my trip to Schaumburg, I grow more and more apprehensive. I'm really looking forward to seeing my darling Pam and meeting her bf of which I have heard so much. However, I'm worried about the whole blind date thing, I mean I managed to drive off a guy I really really liked who at one point liked me, so I worry that

I'm sure you'll have a great time this weekend. Trust me, getting away for a couple days can REALLY help. I mean, look at everything I discovered this weekend while in Chucktown. As for the situation w/men, yeah, I can relate. It's like you're torn between doing what the guy wants and what you want. It sucks big time. Just go out, be yourself, and have fun. That's all anyone can ever do.
