So after exploring my options and coming to the conclusion that I will need to use my savings because I won't be making nearly enough to pay my expenses for a couple months, I purchased a futon. Yes, I know they suck. However, Ry and I are going to buy a sheet of wood and reinforce the frame so that it shall be sufficient for a while. At least

I'm sorry you bombed your thesis defense. That must have sucked. My husband has to try to defend his thesis next Month in September, so I am really nervouse for him too. I don't know why I am nervouse. It's his thesis, probably because he has worked so hard on it, and those are hours that he was away from me, so I hope he does well. I hope you get to try again. I don't know how that would work????

The chair of my department is going to discuss my thesis with me on a one on one basis. That'll help big time because I've taken independent studies with him and am alot more comfortable talking with him. I hope your husband does well on his defense. I think the main key is to over prepare and practice talking it through.
