Last time I was in Frankfurt a guy name Darryl (sp?) gave me a book written by British-American Historian Bill Bryson. Recently, I bought a newer book by the same author called A Walk in the Woods. It's a recollection and analysis of the author's own journey up the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. Bryson is very good at keeping things

i've ready Bill Bryson before, and wasn't disappointed. i remember wanting to hike the Appalachian Trail after reading too! he's a good travel writer.
