I took the ASVAB in high school and scored really high in the "coding" section... as a result, I sort of almost ended up training for the Olympics? Kinda.
Advice for the coding section: short-term memory. Looking back at the key doesn't take up too much time. Don't stop to erase an answer. :)
Are you joining the Air Force just to get out of Gainesville? I don't get it. Also, one big piece of advice I must share, if you do... I heard this from other military people. If you want to get a specific job or training or whatever in the armed forces, you must ask about it, and make sure you always turn in applications as soon as possible, etc. That kind of thing is fiercely competitive, and if you miss any deadlines (which they usually don't tell you about), you get stuck doing grunt work. Just letting you know.
And if the Air Force developes a jet that turns into a giant robot, let me know, I'll join too!
