It obviously meant more to some than others, or maybe people just like something new or different or more "torrential" which LJ has never been. I liked when I'd open the page and see 2-3 posts from people I really want to hear from, or care about. Now I can sometimes go a day or two with NO new posts... and that was sad. But I was ok with the lessening. FB drives me bats. I do see some worth in it for some things, but the whole flow of it really grates on me. I'll try to participate in the FB LJ page... but I have a feeling my heart is not in it.

FBLJ is just something different

It could be lovely, to gather secretly there amongst the noise and flash, but its less of a real place the way LJ is... FB feels evaporative
