Just changed my voter registration over and it seems that Ron Paul is my congressional rep. heh - not sure how I feel about that. Time to step back into local politics. Considered submitting my name for one of the two openings on the local HOA but don't really want to go around reporting deed restrictions on my neighbors. I mean geez I ( Read more... )

yeah TX HOAs have an unreasonable amount of power b/c we have no zoning restrictions. They can even take your house if you don't pay.

One of my coworkers got in a big legal with his HOA over stupid things like torn basketball nets. Some of them are full of busy body types who will send you letters over the stupid things.
