ok, so it was the first day of classes. We were there before 9. :D We weren't late! Hurrah! :D ahaha We were asked to introduce ourselves in front of everybody. OwO Well, then we had our class schedules. (We had to attend a class on the day itself! OwO) well, yeah... had a class with Sir Emmanuel and Flanders Sir Dominique. :D At night, we met up with all the JTA-ers in Lille. All 15 of us met! ISEN + IESEG + ESPEME :D We ate at Flam's (oh the pizza <3 ) and went here to Galillee after :D Woo! :D

We had a network exercise class today with Sir Emanuel again. He really speaks better English than Sir Dominique We arrived early in class today. (well, we were the first ones who arrived) It was a fun class. I found it fun because I didn't get sleepy actually. OwO I was quite sleepy in yesterday's class since it was a lecture OwO. Anyway... We ate kebab at night with the Espeme people. We ate at Taksim's in Wazemmes. :D anyway... We went to Teilhard after eating. Stayed in the game room and met Oliviere! After that, we went to Le Solferino, a bar in Rue Solferino since it was Andres' birthday and Mayen and the others asked us to go. Anyway... When we were there, Kem got a glass of beer and so did Denver, Mark and Mayen. We met a lot of international students (like Sophie, David, Andres, Gasper etc.). Anyway... some people got drunk (those who were there anyway... not us) one was even climbing the stoplight OwO There were also some guys who approached Meki to et a kiss from her. But they got to kiss Mayen and got a kiss from her too. XD There were also some DOMs who were checking out guys OwO. Went home past 12 mn... and we still had school that morning

(Route: TGV from Lille - Gare Du Nord (I think), then walked to Magenta, then took the RER E (to Haussmann Saint-Lazare), got down the RER at Haussmann
Saint-Lazare, walked to Gare Saint-Lazare, took the Regional train to Versailles Rive Droit) Actually, Versaille Rive Gauche is nearer to the Chateau but it's RER C and we have to pay for it D:
Hurrah! another weekend for us! :D We went to Versailles this week, and it was spectacular! Sure we walked a bit a lot but it was still great. :D I don't know where to start. When we arrived at Versailles, we looked for the Chateau. It wasn't as far as we thought it was. The Chateau was simply amazing (and grand!), and the gardens were breathtaking. Well, it was a good thing we bought our passes at Gare Saint-Lazare or else we would be falling in line for around 2 hours or so. So, we went in and had some photo moments <3 ahahah The Chateau was being renovated when we got there. There was also some exhibit by a French artist (as in sculptor etc). There was a balloon flower errr thing in the entrance made by the French artist. OwO (There were even more stuffs inside! OwO ) anyway... so we went inside, got some audio guides and maps (since they were free with the package) and started to walk around the Chateau. We just walked very fast inside Chateau since all you can see are paintings. We wanted to the gardens badly We stayed a bit in the Hall of Mirrors. Then we rushed outside. XD
The garden was so... sld;ahflsjdflkjsdlfjl amazing. OwO It was so wide and so beautiful and so... green XD I couldn't think of any adjective right now OwO We ate our "lunch" there (more like snacks) yey! Prince~ (yes. it's a brand name for a cookie :) ) Of course, this place is also wonderful so, photos!!! <3 ahaha (we usually call pictures photo now XD aww.. Mandy) We weren't able to see the fountain but we saw ducks! OwO Well they came to us and we fed them bread. Oh yes, bread, the duck bait >:) ahahaha we also took "emo" shots. We gather some leaves then threw them at a person to make them look like they're falling. (I'm sure you get the image xD) What else happened? hmm... We walked to Marie-Antionette's house. It was just a mini Chateau but with less paintings. :P We also had more photo ops. XD we vain people We headed to Queen's Hamlet but we were so tired that we rested on a bench (under a shade) for around 45 mins to an hour or so. It was quite funny actually. There we were, five teenagers on one bench and sitting on the bench across ours were two women around their late 50s (basta! matanda na). Anyway!!! While resting, we were chatting about random things (which I forgot where we started) and we ended up talking about love lives XD Kem fell asleep so he wasn't able to hear our stories, and when he woke up, we forced him to tell his story as well. >:) So after that little break, we headed to Queen's Hamlet. Most of us already ran out of batteries so we just looked at the views mostly.
After that, we had another epic walk to go outside. It was also funny because when we were about to leave the gardens and the Chateau, we were always saying "Last look! Last look!" Then we'll look. Then we'll look again :)) It was just so beautiful that you don't want to go away. OwO Before leaving for Paris again, we ate some burgers/sandwiches at Quick, a fastfood chain in France. They also had this "poker" promo, well anyway... when I tore off the "card" that was on my sandwich/burger box, I had a free cheese something. OwO I forgot what it was called. Well we all shared the cheese. XD Then we all talked to the station again. :D When we were in Paris, we took the Metro lines to Tita Luz' house again :D We weren't able to book a train back to Lille that night because there weren't any left. (Of course before going to Tita Luz' house, we researched how to get there XD And well, it was easy. :D ) Tita Luz cooked for us again. THANK YOU SO MUCH TITA LUZ!!! The boys (Ken, Kem, David and Tito Paul) played poker while the girls... err... we set up the "beds" I think. OwO Well, since it was already getting late, we slept. :D (What else would we do? :P )

Tita Luz woke us up in the morning since we were going to be late for our train to Lille (ans we HAD to be at Lille at 12! since that was when the Integration will start) Tita Luz cooked breakfast for us again and we ate with Mandy. :D Btw! We (Meki, Kim, Kem and I) were teasing Ken to Jennifer (since before). We called them Kennifer, and well, it was a hit! :P ahaha even Mandy was using Kennifer already. XD well, it was funny because they were even teasing Jennifer at times XD Tita Luz and David accompanied us to CDG. YEY! SECOND FLOOR~~~ XD we were seated on the second floor/level of the train. :D And we're off to Lille!
NEXT STOP! Galilee integration! :D
Well, we arrived late. So when we arrived at Galilee, there were no more pizzas :( Oh yeah, I haven't explained what the integration was for yet. So, the integration was for welcoming all the newcomers to Galilee. It was also an initiation type of thing. :P We were grouped into 7-10 people (I think), and we were asked to accomplish some tasks. The winning group gets 10 tickets to the movies! So, the tasks (thanks to kdrich for the list):
1.) Buy the most items with 2 euros in match grocery store.
2.) Jump like frogs along one whole side of Lille Flandre train station
3.) Sing a christmas song in the opera
4.) ask a random person for a hug.
5.) ask a random person to draw a bunny on your back
6.) ask for a free condom
7.) ask for a beer glass in the restaurants/bars
I did 1,2,3 and 5. YEY BUNNY!!! :)) LOL XD anyway, all the groups assembled at Grand Place and we ate some bread c/o Kristoff and Anne Sophie. Before I forget to mention, we also saw a girl in a maid costume trying to CPR a mannequin. OwO Then a guy lied down in place of the mannequin. OwO So... we were all going "Ano ba yan? anong ginagawa niya?". (Later we found out that in France, before you get married, you'll be doing something crazy to celebrate your last days single or something like that). Anyway! We then went to a bar and resto as a part of the integration. :D I ordered a milkshake since I wasn't allowed to drink (and I don't drink alcoholic beverages). Kim and Meki also ordered milkshakes. :D The boys ordered drinks, (I only remembered Ken ordering Delirium. I for got Kem's drink D: ) During that time when everybody was relaxing, Kristoff, Anne Sophie and Manuela were going around tables, asking questions, because they couldn't decide on the winner. OwO Unfortunately, we didn't win the tickets :( Well, it's ok. We still had fun :D After that, we went to the park near the dorm. We were asked to change into our "trash clothes" (or clothes that you can sacrifice to get dirty. :P ) in preparation for the shaving cream fight. >:) We girls didn't have any of those clothes so Martin lent us some of his clothes. AWWW THANKS MARTIN!!! :D WE REALLY OWE YOU ONE! :D
We went back to the dorm to get "dressed" then back to the park. When we got to the park, they were already throwing shaving cream at one another! Of course, we had to join the fun. XD We were looking for the shaving cream bottles but turns out there were all out of bottles D: So, we got some water bottles instead and splashed water at everybody! :D Oh yes... that was a lot of fun XD We were all wet and dirty. LOL :P we had our pictures taken and we went back to the dorm to clean ourselves up. :D

Woo! Ateneo VS La Salle game! :D Yes, we were able to watch it (Thanks again Martin!) here in France! O ha?! San kayo?! :)) Nakakarating sa France ang Ateneo-La Salle games! XDD
Then, Tita Luz and her family went to visit us here at Lille! :D They arrived at 1 and we were still cooking our lunch by then D: So, she saw us cooking courgette (zuccini) and potatoes XD Well, anyway. After cooking and eating, we were planning to take them to the Citadel since it was supposedly open for that day. We walked through the park and we still saw the remnants of the shaving cream war. There were white spots on the grass and on the ground everywhere! :)) We passed through an amusement park too! Good thing we did though because we rode an epic ride that day! WOOO! I forgot the name of the ride but spins around a lot and sometimes it flips you over etc. XD It was both exciting and scary. XD Exciting because it was a really great ride. Scary because sometimes you'll feel like you're almost going to fall off and your butt is leaving the seat. Tito Paul video taped the whole ride! XDDD I still don't have a copy though :( After the ride, we played some air hockey with David, Mandy and Jennifer. XD It was fun. I miss air hockey. XD So, we went to Citadel after.
When we got there, it was closed for renovation. booo... oh well. We were able to go to another park near Citadel though. XD Mandy rode a small train and so did Kim. XD It was cute actually. XD It was getting late so we ate dinner at Flams. :D Yummy! The bad side though, we planned to treat them but it ended up that they paid for what we ate. O_O NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Oh well. Now we know. When we're finished eating, we have to get the bill first. OwO We said our goodbyes and Tita Luz and family went back to Paris.

I really couldn't remember much about what happened in the morning this day. OwO But from kdrich's blog, it seems that Meki and I were the only ones who had breakfast and we gave them some bread and jams. Anyway, I don't remember anything after that and before lunch. Becuase I wasn't able to blog about it til now. OwO So we cooked the remaining spaghetti pasta and mixed it with Ken's instant noodle soup. XD It was yummy. XD So we had a class with Sir Emmanuel (I believe it's the Network Exercises class). After class, Martin approached us asking if we would like to have coffee. Of course we agreed and we arranged to meet up at 5:15 pm at the Grand Place. (well, somewhere with a fountain and we thought that it was at Republique at first. XD )
Anyway, so Meki and I went to HyperChampion while Ken, Kem and Kim went to the bank. After a long walk from Champion, we arrived at the dorm. We were lucky because Martin was at the dorm too. So, the three of us went to Grand Place and waited for the 3Ks. When we were complete, we went to "Envies de Saison" located at Rue Nationale beside Subway. The place had a home-y feel to it. And! Everything that's on the menu are homemade! AMAZING! :D Not only was it amazing, it was delicious as well! :D Mmmmm Thanks again Martin! :D
After eating, the boys and Meki, together with Martin, jogged around Citadel. I just walked with Kim because I didn't bring any jogging pants with me. The view was great. It was definitely a joggers area since we saw a lot of people jogging there. :D We passed by the dark and creepy park when we went back to the dorm. :)) At first we didn't plan to go there but Martin and Meki passed there. The four of us just followed. OwO

I forgot again about what happened this day. From kdrich's entry, we went to the Wazemmes Market. XD We bought some chicken, and Kim and I also bought peaches! :D Yey! We also were able to drop by some Chinese stores. In one Chinese store, we saw Filipino products! *0* Champorado, Jack and Jill potato Chips, Datu Puti, Philippine Dried Mangoes... etc. XD We really miss Filipino food. <3 (Meki and I bought Champorado!!! :D YEY!)

Bought some credits for my phone (and bought the correct one). So, turns out that there were no more trains going to Lourdes or Nice or Monacco that weekend. OwO So we booked it two weeks from that day. Good thing that there were exactly 5 seats left. :D YEY! so.. we were able to book the trains then. Problem: This week and next weekend. (I think we were also able to book trains to Paris for the next weekend. so... all that was left was for this weekend XD ) So, we were torn actually. But in the end, we ended up with an itinerary of going to Paris this weekend. And for next weekend, we'll continue our Paris trip and go to Chamonix. :D Done.
What else happened? *checked Kem's blog once more* errr... we had tea with Martin at Kem's room. XD We also shared pictures. XD

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TITA LUZ!!! :D
So.. we were late for Sir Emmanuel's class. >.< It was baaaaad. Really baaaad. OwO In France, time is gold. They value punctuality. OwO We can't be late. OwO Oh well. We were late and that's it. OwO (so we decided NOT to be late in his class EVER AGAIN).
Ok, so... we went to Euralille (the only mall in Lille) to look for a gift for Tita Luz. OwO We first thought of buying her a trenchcoat but then again, we settled for a bag. We also found this cute scarf, so we bought her a scarf too. XD We planned to place a bottle of water, some cookies and a flashlight. Too bad though, Carrefour was already closed >.< Oh well. at least we had the bag and the scarf. =D
On our way home, we bought pasta at Republique and we went to Croc's pizza to eat some pizza as well. :D We also planned to have a "How I Met Your Mother" night because FTP is love! (I kind of forgot if we really did have that night) Well, we called Tita Luz that night and sang Happy birthday. XD She asked us about our plans for the weekend and we were "..." Because we plan to go to Paris to surprise her. XD Well, we told her that we'll be probably go to Chamonix next weekend that they shouldn't expect us next week. (Well, they knew that we were supposed to go to Louvre on the first Sunday of October. OwO ) It was really hard to keep a surprise! OwO So now I know what Tito Paul feels when he's keeping/stashing away Mandy's presents before her birthday. OwO

(Route: I honestly forgot. XD I mean getting a train to Paris is easy, and so is getting around Paris. XD The Metro lines are very very handy. :D You better get a day pass. :D If I remember it correctly though, we got a train from Lille Flandres to Paris-Gare du Nord at 1 pm. Yeah... I think that was it. OwO I remember walking from Gare du Nord to our first stop. XD )
So! Enough of the rants. XD Anyway... Since our train was still in the afternoon, we prepared some sanwiches in the morning. The power of cutting! ahahah we had four slices of ham and we were able to make 10 sandwiches from it! YEY!!! Ahahah. So we had Ham and Tomatoes. :D Anyway... we also brought some cookies with us (oh yes.. Prince. XD ) And of course, water. :D But who knew that the water we bought was not enough to last a day... of climbing up the stairs D:
Ok, so as I mentioned just a few lines back, we stopped at Gare du Nord. We walked outside to go to Sacre Cour. (Btw... if you want to get around, it's really handy to get a very very detailed map. OwO ) So we walked and walked and walked and walked up a small hill. Then... there were the stairs. O_O Gah… it was tiring. Really tiring. Really really really tiring. (we weren't prepared for stairs!) (and yes... we eventually found out that there was an elevator. But you need a metro ticket to use it. :P ) You could see the city outside Sacre Cour! :D we couldn't see the Eiffel Tower though. OwO We took some pictures and of course, went inside. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside though. >.< Too bad. Ken and I shared a candle. (we both got 1 euro each and paid for the candle) I also prayed for a while to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, thanking for my father's recovery. I'm glad that he was saved. :D
After Sacre cour, we went ot the Crypt below the Sacre Cour. Then went to the back to take pictures. XD Well, behin the Sacre Cour was a street were artists (as in those who draw) are. They approached us and even insisted that they would draw us. I remember one artist who was got angry at Kem saying that he was ruining his business. O_o Anyway... we went down the stairs and headed towards Notre Dame. (Yes, we rode the Metro once again :D )
At Notre Dame, we took some pictures outside, then we went in the Church. This time, we could take pictures as long as there weren't any flash. :D So, more photo ops inside. xD After going around the Church, we went outside. Guess what. We saw Ateneans! :D We saw Yeni and... dundundunn.. I forgot her name! OWO err... was it Anne? OwO I am really bad with names Ana (saw it in Kem's blog XD ). They were about to climb Notre Dame. We took a group picture (with one extra XD) then fell in line as well. XD The extra in the picture I was talking about was a street performer or sort. XD He looked like Wario. (Well in my opinion he does) He was very funny. XD He gave us entertainment while waiting. XDD When it was our turn to get inside, we paid 4.8 Euros to be able to walk up Notre Dame. More stairs! @_@ Leaving the stairs part aside, Notre Dame was beautiful. OwO Especially when you get to the top! :D again, the view was breathtaking. AND! We saw Sacre Cour from there. XD we also saw the Eifel tower. XD fun fun fun! More photo ops! XD When we got down, we took more pictures. XD And we took pictures along the River Seine too. :D We met some Pinoys... then walked to Louvre again. OwO We went in some shops along the way. Kem bought a small music box of sort that plays "Happy Birthday" It was cute. XD
So we got to Louvre. We were so excited to see the pyramid! PHOTO OP!!! XDD Ahaha We vain people. XD Then we met up with Yeni and Ana again. :D so we all went inside the Louvre. It was huge! OwO So many paintings, sculptures and artsy stuff to see! We just went to see the Mona Lisa though OwO We met more JTA-ers! :D We met the ones from Austria (Niko and co.) And also the ones from... I forgot. OwO Basta... sa France din. XD Well, we had to go though. It was getting late and we still had to surprise Tita Luz. (And we needed a cake) But before leaving... we had to take a picture at the inverted pyramid! XDD
We left quite early, ate some bread and searched for a cake. Unfortunately, we didn't see any cake shop OwO. We called tita luz though saying if we could stay at their place that night. (so much for the surprise >.< ) Well, we bought pizza (instead of cake) since we remembered Tita Luz saying that Friday is Pizza day for their family. :D Mmmmm... Lucky. XD We got free coke! XDD The store keeper loved us probably. XDD Anyway, we hopped on the Metro and went to tita Luz' place. We sang Happy Birthday (with accompaniment c/o the little music box) and told her the truth that we planned to surprise her. XD We ended up eating the pizza because they already had pizza and we hadn't had a decent dinner D: We played Buzz!!! (I think) and as usual, there was a poker game that night. XD I joined the boys in their game again. OwO I got really lucky OwO Then we slept. XD

So we had breakfast, then we went to Champ-Elyssees to shop walk XD and window-shop. XD (and of course... take pictures!) Then we went up the Arc de Triomphe (for 5.50 Euros I guess) woo! more stairs! the view was beautiful once again. It was like all road lead to Arc de Triomphe or something.
XD So we went back to Tita Luz' house because we promised to eat lunch there. Then we went to the Eifel Tower. We weren't able to go up the tower... yet. we just took pictures from Trocadero. XD great great view! :D We were also able to watch the blinking lights! :D ahaha
We had to leave early because we had a train from Paris to Lille. (we weren't able to book one on Sunday. :( )

Yes, we were back at Paris and we had booked a double room at a hotel (and we found out that this wasn't a good idea). We checked in, then we went to Bastille. XD We didn't know what to see in Bastille and we found a monument. XD So, it looks like that was Bastille. Took some pictures and walked around for a bit. We found a PINK LIMO!!! OF COURSE WE TOOK PICS! XD We rode the Metro once again and went to Pantheon.
At Pantheon, we weren't able to go inside (since we had to pay a fee and it was... quite expensive) so we just stayed outside. OwO We still had fun though.
XD we had jumpshots! (and of course, the epic tekken sequence shots by kem and ken. XD ) then we went to Jardin du Luxembourg. XD
At the Jardin, we stayed for a while and rested. XD it was hot that day. literally. OwO So it's a garden... and gardens provide lots and lots of photo opportunities! XDDD we vain people So we took lots of pictures once again. We were also able to see lots of couples making out. O_O dundundunnn...
After the Jardin... we walked to the Metro once again to go to the Eifel Tower but WAIT! we had gelato! <333 yummy :D It was really delicious. XD then we headed to the metro. XDDD
Eifel Tower part 02137420934082304 XDD We've been there lots of times. XD So, this time, we went up. XD all the way to the top. XD 12 Euros for the ticket all the way to the top. XD Paris at night was such a sight! OwO It was breathtaking! Marvelous! Beautiful! :D ahahaha I really need to stop using these adjectives. XD but really... the lights were wonderful against the dark sky. XD We went down to the second floor to take more pictures. XD We also used the stairs to walk to the first floor. OwO But we had to wait for a long time to get down because it was 12 mn by then. >.< And we were very very very hungry. When we got down, we had no choice but to eat the sandwiches the sell near the Eifel Tower (which costs a lot! >O<) but at least we were full. Rode the Metro again to the Hotel. Oh yeah... I forgot to mention. OwO tita Luz got angry at us because we weren't able to stop by at her place when we said we would. OwO dundundunnn... But we planned it to be late but yeah... >.< We're sorry. >.<
So at the hotel, we got caught. The manager was angry at us but still let us stay in for the night. >.< We were too scared to think of any additional fees. >.<

So we were asked to pay an extra 20 euros for the two rooms. >.< Oh well... at least it wasn't 100 euros or something. But it was really scary. >.<
We went back to Lille and ate Kebab for lunch because we were really really hungry. We also had a class at 1:30 with sir Emmanuel. OwO and we weren't late! aha! >:)
That night, we ate at AEU with Martin. XD It was our first time to eat there. XD Thanks again Martin! :D We saw Mayen and the Slovenians there. XD We also saw Denver and Mark. :D I love the food. XD You could ask for more vegetables. XD I remember Ken asking for more Frites in a funny way. XDDD

Nothing much happened actually. OwO We had class with Sir Dominique and met another Sir Dominique who was going to teach us Networking Lab. In my opinion, sir Dominique looks like Lovelace from Happy Feet From Sir Dominique's (ned's) explanation, sir Dominique (lovelace) was afraid of large groups so he was assigned to teach us.
That night, we went to Teilhard. I wasn't able to go with them to the club because I had to do something... I forgot. OwO
Mweh... I still have two weeks to go D: >O< Noooo Well.. at least I'll be blogging about October stuffs now. XDD MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

After that, we went to Le Solferino, a bar in Rue Solferino since it was Andres' birthday and Mayen and the others asked us to go. Anyway... When we were there, Kem got a glass of beer and so did Denver, Mark and Mayen. We met a lot of international students (like Sophie, David, Andres, Gasper etc.). Anyway... some people got drunk (those who were there anyway... not us) one was even climbing the stoplight OwO There were also some guys who approached Meki to et a kiss from her. But they got to kiss Mayen and got a kiss from her too. XD There were also some DOMs who were checking out guys OwO. Went home past 12 mn... and we still had school that morning

Saint-Lazare, walked to Gare Saint-Lazare, took the Regional train to Versailles Rive Droit) Actually, Versaille Rive Gauche is nearer to the Chateau but it's RER C and we have to pay for it D:
Hurrah! another weekend for us! :D We went to Versailles this week, and it was spectacular! Sure we walked a bit a lot but it was still great. :D I don't know where to start. When we arrived at Versailles, we looked for the Chateau. It wasn't as far as we thought it was. The Chateau was simply amazing (and grand!), and the gardens were breathtaking. Well, it was a good thing we bought our passes at Gare Saint-Lazare or else we would be falling in line for around 2 hours or so. So, we went in and had some photo moments <3 ahahah The Chateau was being renovated when we got there. There was also some exhibit by a French artist (as in sculptor etc). There was a balloon flower errr thing in the entrance made by the French artist. OwO (There were even more stuffs inside! OwO ) anyway... so we went inside, got some audio guides and maps (since they were free with the package) and started to walk around the Chateau. We just walked very fast inside Chateau since all you can see are paintings. We wanted to the gardens badly We stayed a bit in the Hall of Mirrors. Then we rushed outside. XD
The garden was so... sld;ahflsjdflkjsdlfjl amazing. OwO It was so wide and so beautiful and so... green XD I couldn't think of any adjective right now OwO We ate our "lunch" there (more like snacks) yey! Prince~ (yes. it's a brand name for a cookie :) ) Of course, this place is also wonderful so, photos!!! <3 ahaha (we usually call pictures photo now XD aww.. Mandy) We weren't able to see the fountain but we saw ducks! OwO Well they came to us and we fed them bread. Oh yes, bread, the duck bait >:) ahahaha we also took "emo" shots. We gather some leaves then threw them at a person to make them look like they're falling. (I'm sure you get the image xD) What else happened? hmm... We walked to Marie-Antionette's house. It was just a mini Chateau but with less paintings. :P We also had more photo ops. XD we vain people We headed to Queen's Hamlet but we were so tired that we rested on a bench (under a shade) for around 45 mins to an hour or so. It was quite funny actually. There we were, five teenagers on one bench and sitting on the bench across ours were two women around their late 50s (basta! matanda na). Anyway!!! While resting, we were chatting about random things (which I forgot where we started) and we ended up talking about love lives XD Kem fell asleep so he wasn't able to hear our stories, and when he woke up, we forced him to tell his story as well. >:) So after that little break, we headed to Queen's Hamlet. Most of us already ran out of batteries so we just looked at the views mostly.
After that, we had another epic walk to go outside. It was also funny because when we were about to leave the gardens and the Chateau, we were always saying "Last look! Last look!" Then we'll look. Then we'll look again :)) It was just so beautiful that you don't want to go away. OwO Before leaving for Paris again, we ate some burgers/sandwiches at Quick, a fastfood chain in France. They also had this "poker" promo, well anyway... when I tore off the "card" that was on my sandwich/burger box, I had a free cheese something. OwO I forgot what it was called. Well we all shared the cheese. XD Then we all talked to the station again. :D When we were in Paris, we took the Metro lines to Tita Luz' house again :D We weren't able to book a train back to Lille that night because there weren't any left. (Of course before going to Tita Luz' house, we researched how to get there XD And well, it was easy. :D ) Tita Luz cooked for us again. THANK YOU SO MUCH TITA LUZ!!! The boys (Ken, Kem, David and Tito Paul) played poker while the girls... err... we set up the "beds" I think. OwO Well, since it was already getting late, we slept. :D (What else would we do? :P )

Tita Luz woke us up in the morning since we were going to be late for our train to Lille (ans we HAD to be at Lille at 12! since that was when the Integration will start) Tita Luz cooked breakfast for us again and we ate with Mandy. :D Btw! We (Meki, Kim, Kem and I) were teasing Ken to Jennifer (since before). We called them Kennifer, and well, it was a hit! :P ahaha even Mandy was using Kennifer already. XD well, it was funny because they were even teasing Jennifer at times XD Tita Luz and David accompanied us to CDG. YEY! SECOND FLOOR~~~ XD we were seated on the second floor/level of the train. :D And we're off to Lille!
NEXT STOP! Galilee integration! :D
Well, we arrived late. So when we arrived at Galilee, there were no more pizzas :( Oh yeah, I haven't explained what the integration was for yet. So, the integration was for welcoming all the newcomers to Galilee. It was also an initiation type of thing. :P We were grouped into 7-10 people (I think), and we were asked to accomplish some tasks. The winning group gets 10 tickets to the movies! So, the tasks (thanks to kdrich for the list):
1.) Buy the most items with 2 euros in match grocery store.
2.) Jump like frogs along one whole side of Lille Flandre train station
3.) Sing a christmas song in the opera
4.) ask a random person for a hug.
5.) ask a random person to draw a bunny on your back
6.) ask for a free condom
7.) ask for a beer glass in the restaurants/bars
I did 1,2,3 and 5. YEY BUNNY!!! :)) LOL XD anyway, all the groups assembled at Grand Place and we ate some bread c/o Kristoff and Anne Sophie. Before I forget to mention, we also saw a girl in a maid costume trying to CPR a mannequin. OwO Then a guy lied down in place of the mannequin. OwO So... we were all going "Ano ba yan? anong ginagawa niya?". (Later we found out that in France, before you get married, you'll be doing something crazy to celebrate your last days single or something like that). Anyway! We then went to a bar and resto as a part of the integration. :D I ordered a milkshake since I wasn't allowed to drink (and I don't drink alcoholic beverages). Kim and Meki also ordered milkshakes. :D The boys ordered drinks, (I only remembered Ken ordering Delirium. I for got Kem's drink D: ) During that time when everybody was relaxing, Kristoff, Anne Sophie and Manuela were going around tables, asking questions, because they couldn't decide on the winner. OwO Unfortunately, we didn't win the tickets :( Well, it's ok. We still had fun :D After that, we went to the park near the dorm. We were asked to change into our "trash clothes" (or clothes that you can sacrifice to get dirty. :P ) in preparation for the shaving cream fight. >:) We girls didn't have any of those clothes so Martin lent us some of his clothes. AWWW THANKS MARTIN!!! :D WE REALLY OWE YOU ONE! :D
We went back to the dorm to get "dressed" then back to the park. When we got to the park, they were already throwing shaving cream at one another! Of course, we had to join the fun. XD We were looking for the shaving cream bottles but turns out there were all out of bottles D: So, we got some water bottles instead and splashed water at everybody! :D Oh yes... that was a lot of fun XD We were all wet and dirty. LOL :P we had our pictures taken and we went back to the dorm to clean ourselves up. :D

Woo! Ateneo VS La Salle game! :D Yes, we were able to watch it (Thanks again Martin!) here in France! O ha?! San kayo?! :)) Nakakarating sa France ang Ateneo-La Salle games! XDD
Then, Tita Luz and her family went to visit us here at Lille! :D They arrived at 1 and we were still cooking our lunch by then D: So, she saw us cooking courgette (zuccini) and potatoes XD Well, anyway. After cooking and eating, we were planning to take them to the Citadel since it was supposedly open for that day. We walked through the park and we still saw the remnants of the shaving cream war. There were white spots on the grass and on the ground everywhere! :)) We passed through an amusement park too! Good thing we did though because we rode an epic ride that day! WOOO! I forgot the name of the ride but spins around a lot and sometimes it flips you over etc. XD It was both exciting and scary. XD Exciting because it was a really great ride. Scary because sometimes you'll feel like you're almost going to fall off and your butt is leaving the seat. Tito Paul video taped the whole ride! XDDD I still don't have a copy though :( After the ride, we played some air hockey with David, Mandy and Jennifer. XD It was fun. I miss air hockey. XD So, we went to Citadel after.
When we got there, it was closed for renovation. booo... oh well. We were able to go to another park near Citadel though. XD Mandy rode a small train and so did Kim. XD It was cute actually. XD It was getting late so we ate dinner at Flams. :D Yummy! The bad side though, we planned to treat them but it ended up that they paid for what we ate. O_O NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Oh well. Now we know. When we're finished eating, we have to get the bill first. OwO We said our goodbyes and Tita Luz and family went back to Paris.

I really couldn't remember much about what happened in the morning this day. OwO But from kdrich's blog, it seems that Meki and I were the only ones who had breakfast and we gave them some bread and jams. Anyway, I don't remember anything after that and before lunch. Becuase I wasn't able to blog about it til now. OwO So we cooked the remaining spaghetti pasta and mixed it with Ken's instant noodle soup. XD It was yummy. XD So we had a class with Sir Emmanuel (I believe it's the Network Exercises class). After class, Martin approached us asking if we would like to have coffee. Of course we agreed and we arranged to meet up at 5:15 pm at the Grand Place. (well, somewhere with a fountain and we thought that it was at Republique at first. XD )
Anyway, so Meki and I went to HyperChampion while Ken, Kem and Kim went to the bank. After a long walk from Champion, we arrived at the dorm. We were lucky because Martin was at the dorm too. So, the three of us went to Grand Place and waited for the 3Ks. When we were complete, we went to "Envies de Saison" located at Rue Nationale beside Subway. The place had a home-y feel to it. And! Everything that's on the menu are homemade! AMAZING! :D Not only was it amazing, it was delicious as well! :D Mmmmm Thanks again Martin! :D
After eating, the boys and Meki, together with Martin, jogged around Citadel. I just walked with Kim because I didn't bring any jogging pants with me. The view was great. It was definitely a joggers area since we saw a lot of people jogging there. :D We passed by the dark and creepy park when we went back to the dorm. :)) At first we didn't plan to go there but Martin and Meki passed there. The four of us just followed. OwO

I forgot again about what happened this day. From kdrich's entry, we went to the Wazemmes Market. XD We bought some chicken, and Kim and I also bought peaches! :D Yey! We also were able to drop by some Chinese stores. In one Chinese store, we saw Filipino products! *0* Champorado, Jack and Jill potato Chips, Datu Puti, Philippine Dried Mangoes... etc. XD We really miss Filipino food. <3 (Meki and I bought Champorado!!! :D YEY!)

Bought some credits for my phone (and bought the correct one). So, turns out that there were no more trains going to Lourdes or Nice or Monacco that weekend. OwO So we booked it two weeks from that day. Good thing that there were exactly 5 seats left. :D YEY! so.. we were able to book the trains then. Problem: This week and next weekend. (I think we were also able to book trains to Paris for the next weekend. so... all that was left was for this weekend XD ) So, we were torn actually. But in the end, we ended up with an itinerary of going to Paris this weekend. And for next weekend, we'll continue our Paris trip and go to Chamonix. :D Done.
What else happened? *checked Kem's blog once more* errr... we had tea with Martin at Kem's room. XD We also shared pictures. XD

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TITA LUZ!!! :D
So.. we were late for Sir Emmanuel's class. >.< It was baaaaad. Really baaaad. OwO In France, time is gold. They value punctuality. OwO We can't be late. OwO Oh well. We were late and that's it. OwO (so we decided NOT to be late in his class EVER AGAIN).
Ok, so... we went to Euralille (the only mall in Lille) to look for a gift for Tita Luz. OwO We first thought of buying her a trenchcoat but then again, we settled for a bag. We also found this cute scarf, so we bought her a scarf too. XD We planned to place a bottle of water, some cookies and a flashlight. Too bad though, Carrefour was already closed >.< Oh well. at least we had the bag and the scarf. =D
On our way home, we bought pasta at Republique and we went to Croc's pizza to eat some pizza as well. :D We also planned to have a "How I Met Your Mother" night because FTP is love! (I kind of forgot if we really did have that night) Well, we called Tita Luz that night and sang Happy birthday. XD She asked us about our plans for the weekend and we were "..." Because we plan to go to Paris to surprise her. XD Well, we told her that we'll be probably go to Chamonix next weekend that they shouldn't expect us next week. (Well, they knew that we were supposed to go to Louvre on the first Sunday of October. OwO ) It was really hard to keep a surprise! OwO So now I know what Tito Paul feels when he's keeping/stashing away Mandy's presents before her birthday. OwO

(Route: I honestly forgot. XD I mean getting a train to Paris is easy, and so is getting around Paris. XD The Metro lines are very very handy. :D You better get a day pass. :D If I remember it correctly though, we got a train from Lille Flandres to Paris-Gare du Nord at 1 pm. Yeah... I think that was it. OwO I remember walking from Gare du Nord to our first stop. XD )
So! Enough of the rants. XD Anyway... Since our train was still in the afternoon, we prepared some sanwiches in the morning. The power of cutting! ahahah we had four slices of ham and we were able to make 10 sandwiches from it! YEY!!! Ahahah. So we had Ham and Tomatoes. :D Anyway... we also brought some cookies with us (oh yes.. Prince. XD ) And of course, water. :D But who knew that the water we bought was not enough to last a day... of climbing up the stairs D:
Ok, so as I mentioned just a few lines back, we stopped at Gare du Nord. We walked outside to go to Sacre Cour. (Btw... if you want to get around, it's really handy to get a very very detailed map. OwO ) So we walked and walked and walked and walked up a small hill. Then... there were the stairs. O_O Gah… it was tiring. Really tiring. Really really really tiring. (we weren't prepared for stairs!) (and yes... we eventually found out that there was an elevator. But you need a metro ticket to use it. :P ) You could see the city outside Sacre Cour! :D we couldn't see the Eiffel Tower though. OwO We took some pictures and of course, went inside. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside though. >.< Too bad. Ken and I shared a candle. (we both got 1 euro each and paid for the candle) I also prayed for a while to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, thanking for my father's recovery. I'm glad that he was saved. :D
After Sacre cour, we went ot the Crypt below the Sacre Cour. Then went to the back to take pictures. XD Well, behin the Sacre Cour was a street were artists (as in those who draw) are. They approached us and even insisted that they would draw us. I remember one artist who was got angry at Kem saying that he was ruining his business. O_o Anyway... we went down the stairs and headed towards Notre Dame. (Yes, we rode the Metro once again :D )
At Notre Dame, we took some pictures outside, then we went in the Church. This time, we could take pictures as long as there weren't any flash. :D So, more photo ops inside. xD After going around the Church, we went outside. Guess what. We saw Ateneans! :D We saw Yeni and... dundundunn.. I forgot her name! OWO err... was it Anne? OwO I am really bad with names Ana (saw it in Kem's blog XD ). They were about to climb Notre Dame. We took a group picture (with one extra XD) then fell in line as well. XD The extra in the picture I was talking about was a street performer or sort. XD He looked like Wario. (Well in my opinion he does) He was very funny. XD He gave us entertainment while waiting. XDD When it was our turn to get inside, we paid 4.8 Euros to be able to walk up Notre Dame. More stairs! @_@ Leaving the stairs part aside, Notre Dame was beautiful. OwO Especially when you get to the top! :D again, the view was breathtaking. AND! We saw Sacre Cour from there. XD we also saw the Eifel tower. XD fun fun fun! More photo ops! XD When we got down, we took more pictures. XD And we took pictures along the River Seine too. :D We met some Pinoys... then walked to Louvre again. OwO We went in some shops along the way. Kem bought a small music box of sort that plays "Happy Birthday" It was cute. XD
So we got to Louvre. We were so excited to see the pyramid! PHOTO OP!!! XDD Ahaha We vain people. XD Then we met up with Yeni and Ana again. :D so we all went inside the Louvre. It was huge! OwO So many paintings, sculptures and artsy stuff to see! We just went to see the Mona Lisa though OwO We met more JTA-ers! :D We met the ones from Austria (Niko and co.) And also the ones from... I forgot. OwO Basta... sa France din. XD Well, we had to go though. It was getting late and we still had to surprise Tita Luz. (And we needed a cake) But before leaving... we had to take a picture at the inverted pyramid! XDD
We left quite early, ate some bread and searched for a cake. Unfortunately, we didn't see any cake shop OwO. We called tita luz though saying if we could stay at their place that night. (so much for the surprise >.< ) Well, we bought pizza (instead of cake) since we remembered Tita Luz saying that Friday is Pizza day for their family. :D Mmmmm... Lucky. XD We got free coke! XDD The store keeper loved us probably. XDD Anyway, we hopped on the Metro and went to tita Luz' place. We sang Happy Birthday (with accompaniment c/o the little music box) and told her the truth that we planned to surprise her. XD We ended up eating the pizza because they already had pizza and we hadn't had a decent dinner D: We played Buzz!!! (I think) and as usual, there was a poker game that night. XD I joined the boys in their game again. OwO I got really lucky OwO Then we slept. XD

So we had breakfast, then we went to Champ-Elyssees to shop walk XD and window-shop. XD (and of course... take pictures!) Then we went up the Arc de Triomphe (for 5.50 Euros I guess) woo! more stairs! the view was beautiful once again. It was like all road lead to Arc de Triomphe or something.
XD So we went back to Tita Luz' house because we promised to eat lunch there. Then we went to the Eifel Tower. We weren't able to go up the tower... yet. we just took pictures from Trocadero. XD great great view! :D We were also able to watch the blinking lights! :D ahaha
We had to leave early because we had a train from Paris to Lille. (we weren't able to book one on Sunday. :( )

Yes, we were back at Paris and we had booked a double room at a hotel (and we found out that this wasn't a good idea). We checked in, then we went to Bastille. XD We didn't know what to see in Bastille and we found a monument. XD So, it looks like that was Bastille. Took some pictures and walked around for a bit. We found a PINK LIMO!!! OF COURSE WE TOOK PICS! XD We rode the Metro once again and went to Pantheon.
At Pantheon, we weren't able to go inside (since we had to pay a fee and it was... quite expensive) so we just stayed outside. OwO We still had fun though.
XD we had jumpshots! (and of course, the epic tekken sequence shots by kem and ken. XD ) then we went to Jardin du Luxembourg. XD
At the Jardin, we stayed for a while and rested. XD it was hot that day. literally. OwO So it's a garden... and gardens provide lots and lots of photo opportunities! XDDD we vain people So we took lots of pictures once again. We were also able to see lots of couples making out. O_O dundundunnn...
After the Jardin... we walked to the Metro once again to go to the Eifel Tower but WAIT! we had gelato! <333 yummy :D It was really delicious. XD then we headed to the metro. XDDD
Eifel Tower part 02137420934082304 XDD We've been there lots of times. XD So, this time, we went up. XD all the way to the top. XD 12 Euros for the ticket all the way to the top. XD Paris at night was such a sight! OwO It was breathtaking! Marvelous! Beautiful! :D ahahaha I really need to stop using these adjectives. XD but really... the lights were wonderful against the dark sky. XD We went down to the second floor to take more pictures. XD We also used the stairs to walk to the first floor. OwO But we had to wait for a long time to get down because it was 12 mn by then. >.< And we were very very very hungry. When we got down, we had no choice but to eat the sandwiches the sell near the Eifel Tower (which costs a lot! >O<) but at least we were full. Rode the Metro again to the Hotel. Oh yeah... I forgot to mention. OwO tita Luz got angry at us because we weren't able to stop by at her place when we said we would. OwO dundundunnn... But we planned it to be late but yeah... >.< We're sorry. >.<
So at the hotel, we got caught. The manager was angry at us but still let us stay in for the night. >.< We were too scared to think of any additional fees. >.<

We went back to Lille and ate Kebab for lunch because we were really really hungry. We also had a class at 1:30 with sir Emmanuel. OwO and we weren't late! aha! >:)
That night, we ate at AEU with Martin. XD It was our first time to eat there. XD Thanks again Martin! :D We saw Mayen and the Slovenians there. XD We also saw Denver and Mark. :D I love the food. XD You could ask for more vegetables. XD I remember Ken asking for more Frites in a funny way. XDDD

Nothing much happened actually. OwO We had class with Sir Dominique and met another Sir Dominique who was going to teach us Networking Lab. In my opinion, sir Dominique looks like Lovelace from Happy Feet From Sir Dominique's (ned's) explanation, sir Dominique (lovelace) was afraid of large groups so he was assigned to teach us.
That night, we went to Teilhard. I wasn't able to go with them to the club because I had to do something... I forgot. OwO
Mweh... I still have two weeks to go D: >O< Noooo Well.. at least I'll be blogging about October stuffs now. XDD MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
