I'm more than a little amused that it seems like you were running just at the edges of my circles all weekend. I know of many of the people you indirectly mentioned, but saw only a few of them. You shoulda gone to the Abney Park show on Sunday. ;)

hah, Nathan told me to go see Faith. I wish I could have done it all, but I have no regrets with seeing Orkestar Zirconium. I did want to meet up with more people. Maybe I'll add another day to my trip next year. And another day to the year after that until I'm taking months off for Honk West.

Yeah, he went down to Portland to see Faith. I hadn't gotten to see AP for quite a while, so knew what I was going to do. :)

BTW, the airport is the best thing about Detroit. Seriously, I love that airport SO MUCH. Well organized, clean, clocks everywhere, good nachos at the low-numbered A gates... but there's nothing good in Detroit itself, unless you count Ann Arbor ;)

I'm not kidding when I say that I'm going to need a full week next time to fit everything and everyone in. Or I need to make a social visit with solid plans some non honk time. I hope to see you soon!
