Ok, this has been bothering me for a few days and I know I should just really hack off my arm instead of thinking about it, but I'm going to put it here and ask people for thoughts

Honestly, I don't think it matters what he is trying to say to you. I think that is shady and if he's interested he should grow up and say something. You're a person, a pretty awesome one in fact. You deserve better than some guessing game.
But that's just my opinion. Sorry if it seemed harsh.
I appreciate your comments Nichole. Yea, I think you have a good point there, but I guess it's really hard to explain this situation without you knowing who the person is. If it were any other person, I would say you're totally right, but this person is just a little different . . . but thanks for the compliments. ^_^
I agree with Nichole... but i see what you're saying about the specific person actually making a difference in the scenario. But I definitely agree with what she said about it sounding shady. But then again, if he was drunk... maybe that's just the way his intentions came out? good luck figuring it all out.
That's wierd. You should ask him... because it sounds like either he's comfortable enough with you that he would not be scared away by you asking something like that, or he IS interested... and well, should get some balls and fess up anyway.
...would not be scared away by you asking what he meant by what he said earlier. I never thought you asked it.
I'm sorry, I know, my run-ons are insane.
Interesting somewhat related fact I just read in my french class: "The French are deeply consious of form in all the arts. When Victor Hugo's 'Hernani' was staged, a run-on line caused a riot in the audience." Crazy French people. Idunno, I thought you'd enjoy that :P

Or you should ignore it? Idunno. Weird.
