Pickles started setting everything up as soon as he got into the room, starting with the TV and DVD, before heading off to the desk, tossing the letter on it for further reading later. He started rifling through the drawers before finding exactly what he was looking for. The pipe, weed, and a small tin labelled Altoids.

"Atta man, Old-me, know where ( Read more... )

There is no amount of gaping that could possibly fit into this time frame. The music swells as Dorothy goes prancing down the yellow brick road, and when the scene fades, the song segues into another.
Pickles fumbled for the remote, and paused the movie.

"WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK!?"
He grabbed another bottle and finished the entire thing before he started the movie again. This took about thirty seconds.
Dorothy's expression says it best, really.

Pickles just watched in awe as the cues for the beats came along with certain important cues in the movie.

This ain't fuckin' possible unless it's intentional. No effin' way.

The synching from here gets to be a lot less like something that was specifically written and choreographed to correspond. There's still a lot of keeping with the beat but since it's just Dorothy dancing with the Scarecrow and no lyrics to accompany, it fades a bit into an atmospheric constant, freeing up a fraction of Miniver's brain to handle other important tasks -- such as drinking, and groping his boyfriend.

"The possible implications of this being merely coincidental are as frightening as the question of why a band would decide to synch an album to this of all movies," he comments idly as the scarecrow falls on time with the music.

Pickles nodded and raised both brows as Dark Side of the Moon came up, and he snickered, "I wouldn't necessarily call Scarecrow a lunatic, though. But he is on the path." He shrugged. "If I were to do an album that synched up with a movie, I'd pick something just as popular and timeless as Wizard of Oz, too. Sound of Music, maybe." He smirked, "Oh yeah, definitely that one, because it's got everything. Chicks in nun outfits, nazis, crazy children. Hell, it has a puppet show. I'd totally do it to that."

He wasn't paying attention to this part, since he really hated those gaddamn apple trees. He did, however, catch it just as Dorothy espied the Tin Man's feet.
"Dude."
He shut up at "All that you touch..." Because that was uncanny.

"I guess so," Miniver agrees. Still weird, though. And he, too, shuts up with the appearance of the Tinman, and sinks against Pickles as Dorothy leans in to listen to the heartbeat.

The DVD paused there on its own accord with the question of
'Proceed to Alternate Ending? Yes/No'

And Pickles looked over at Miniver. "I don't know if I can take more of this. I seriously don't think I can watch that much more completely impossible coincidence without... A lot of drugs. Enough to choke a horse."
