Pickles had spread out a blanket and had grabbed a couple bottles of booze, including the expensive-as-hell one. "Alright, here we are." He said, keeping the headlights on so they could set up. "See that post over by the trail? Put that paper on the little grabby-thing and I'll start settin' up the tent."
Grabby thing is the technical term for office clip-nailed-to-a-post.

"Anything I can do to help? I've never camped before..." He doesn't want to get in the way, and wants to get everything set up so he can get WARM again.

"... Okay, whatever. While I get this tent set up." He'd already laid out the tent and staked the corners into the ground. It was a tent big enough for four people, segmented in the center on the inside by a partition that zipped up. He used the front of it for storing food and wet clothes and the back for sleeping, obviously.
And he'd set it up so many times, that it didn't take all that long at all to have the thing in place. Ten minutes, maybe.

Cheating? Yes. But EFFECTIVE. And now he is starting to be warm again!!
He crouches by the flames, cocooned again in his sweater, watching Pickles finish the tent. "That looks great. Come here, doll. Oh, this was such a great idea!"

After that, though (having zipped the two bags together to make ULTRABAG!) Pickles dropped down, not even caring about the dirt on his jeans or hands. "This really is great. It might be kinda chilly but it's away from people and that's what counts."
