So, living in michigan. There are perks. Like old friends. Those are good. And lakes; it's nice to see water again. How do other people live in the rest of the country without water every seven hundred feet? It was just odd in kentucky ( Read more... )

Sounds like you've made some good progress. It was an adventure at the least. And you were incredibly brave and stronger than you knew in Hawaii and Kentucky...but yeah I'd imagine Kentucky is just weird to anyone from the north.

Just one word of advice, don't mention accommodation until you are closer to a final interview. ADA protects employees more than applicants, although it does make it easier to claim discrimination if you have the proof and wherewithal to sue.

I made that mistake once and I don't know if it cost me the job or if there was just a better candidate. I've only just revealed my conditions to my boss and employees after 8 months.

It's good to hear you in the acceptance phase of dealing with your condition(s) Did you get a definitive on the Sjogrens?

I got my definitive on Celiac and Ehlers and it explains ALOT of what I've gone through in the last 10 years.

I asked for their understanding, I told them I have a muscle/joint disorder and a digestive disease but that I would always try my best and would always communicate to them when I was not at my best so they didn't have to guess if I was having a flare. And reminded them that I am still good at what I do...just may not be 100% everyday. I didn't tell them that I've been struggling for years. It was easier to let them believe it was newer ( ... )
