After seeing Miss Potter at the cinema on saturday which featured the beautiful landscapes of the lake district I decided that this years family holiday will be... in the lake district I have booked this place for a week in August

The lake district is a beautiful place, I have promised to take Gavin there camping some time during the summer, to wake surrounded by mountains is just an amazing first sight to see. Have lots of fun, I know you will enjoy it.

Don't know about whitby which one you thinking? I may be working by the october one :-) I'd like to go again perhaps april this time?

I recall going up the Lake Windemere (spelling?!) when i was little, and it is still one of my favourite childhood memories, along with the rest of the lake district :)

Sounds ideal and just what you need, as you say pity it's not August yet!

BTW what was Miss Potter like? I'd like to see it but slightly put off by the trailer I saw as Renee just sounds like Bridget Jones again - maybe it's just me?!
