listening to chopin makes me feel melancholy but it's so beautiful. fuckin traffic school tomorrow. sux bigtime. oh well. found an oasis in long beach today whilst taking a detour around a major accident on pacific coast hwy. it's called the pacific wind sculpture garden. thought i knew long beach well enough but this place slipped thru the cracks ( Read more... )

Makes me ponder what sorts of new sculpture-esque things I should add to my own "garden" this spring. Over the years it's sprouted an abandoned wooden screen door, benches of construction leftovers and Mexican tile, a hulk of Chinese coins and copper pipe, part of an otherwise-unloved lamp...

Also makes me wonder how that b-ball hoop got up there.

wow it sounds like your garden would also be a groovy place to hang out! and i'm sure that you'll find cool new sculpturesque additions to enhance your garden!

i've pondered also on the hoop but it's just there and it's sweet! next time i head up to the LBC i'll make sure to have a ball in the car. oh and have polaroid film and another camera to photograph the sculpture garden.
