I was in new Jersey for about 2 days; so crazy. But what's the point when hardly any of my friends are home and there's nothing to do. It was fun though. One of my friends from NH came to visit me in the city. It was pouring, but still a lot of fun. At one point we got caught in a mini monsoon and had to run under the awning of an apartment

Wait, you can't drive at age 16 in NJ???

I thought everyone could drive at 16, actually. Hmmm, that's wierd. But to be honest, I like the idea of a higher driving age. (Obviously, considering I'm not licensed yet.)

We get permits at 16, then a (restricted) license at 17 (you have to have your permit for 6 months before you get your license). We get an unrestricted one at 18.

Ah, okay. We get permits at 15 and somewhat restricted licenses at 16. I don't know what those restrictions are or when they aren't in effect anymore, but I think it's probably age 18 as well.

I love blading! It's the best. You get used to no poles really quickly, then when you ski again, it's like "WTF are these things for." Because really, poles serve no purpose anyway. I miss my blades... my dad won't let me use them anymore, so I'm going back to skiing after a two-year hiatus.

Anyway, it was good to see you for 30 seconds on Friday, and I'm glad to hear you're having fun!

lol. I know, 'twas a short visit. Yea; I'm going to ask for skis next Christmas and they're cheaper and quite fun/versatile. idk tho.
