I started my job at Moody and Associates today. It was pretty boring at first. I just sat and read semi-technical papers on the effects of long-wall mining. I met the rest of the crew, and don't remember too many names just yet. But my one manager took me out to eat at Max and Erma's for lunch because it was my first day. Max and Erma's is good. They have good fish sandwiches.

Fortunately it didn't rain much today. Tomorrow will be interesting though, since I get to try to splice a generator into a pump's wiring. Electricity and water, that can warm a person up quickly.

Dude, I didn't know you listened to Building429. I saw them down in North Carolina! I like they're sound.

Yeah, they are a really good band. I get some of their songs on internet radio and will be picking up thier CD soon. "Glory Defined" came on Launch cast while I was updating, and that is one of my favorites of theirs.
