Junho watched the scenery as they drove to their hotel in Japan. Other than the fact that the country looked more busy, Japan didn't seem that much different than home. Of course, he didn't live in the heart of the social part of Seoul, so Tokyo did seem a bit more busy. Tall buildings shadowed them from the sun as their black cab skillfully traveled down the crowded streets.
“How do you like it so far?”
Junho peeled his face away from the window. Wooyoung had his head slightly tilted as he smiled at the younger boy.
“It's busy.”
Wooyoung laughed. “You get used to it. It's not like Seoul but it's still home.”
“You're Korean.”
The older boy nodded. “I studied Japan all the way through high school and wanted to come here and learn the true culture. It's so much different here... They way they dress... Their attitudes... They seem to be less strict here.”
“Do you ever go back home?”
“I do occasionally. I miss it sometimes. I get homesick when I'm alone for a long time. Home still has all my siblings, no ones moved out yet.” The small boy smiled. “But I always come back.”
The car slowed down, the driver putting the car in park.
“Looks like we're here.”
Junho swallowed. He didn't know a word of Japanese so he wondered how far he could make it without getting extremely flustered. He knew people thought hangul was weird to see the first time but now he understood why, as he stared at the 'kanji' that was written all over the place. He heard the foreign language of Japanese fill his ears as his eyes searched back and forth until he was spinning in circles on the sidewalk. When he finally stopped, he looked around, his heart pounding as he suddenly felt lost and alone.
“Junho!”
He whipped around to see Nichkhun standing in the door of their hotel.
“Are you coming?”
The smaller boy slowly nodded, running into the hotel.
“You alright? You look nervous.”
“I... I felt lost.”
“Already?” Nichkhun chuckled. “Maybe I should have Wooyoung stick to your side instead of mine.”
Junho tried to calm his heart as they stepped into the elevator. He didn't have a momet to look at the lobby, too afraid to take his eyes off his brunette haired boss. He wished he had because as soon the elevator hit their floor and he stepped out, he was overwhelmed. So much so he couldn't take a step further. Nichkhun placed a gentle hand on his back, pushing him forward.
“Where did you think we were staying?” He chuckled. “Some motel at the edge of town run by omma and oppa?”
“I-I didn't imagine anything like this...”
“Incase you're wondering, it's called the Penthouse Suite.”
His heart raced again as he took in the sight of this apartment sized hotel room. It was bigger than his own apartment. So much open space, the furniture looked rich like, white and clean. The kitchen contained a large black fridge surrounded in marble countertop. Junho wiggled his toes, not noticing he had taken his shoes off, the plush carpet against his feet. He looked up, the ceiling higher than he had ever seen, it caused him to shiver. His eyes traveled down to the window, the enormous floor to ceiling windows that stretched from the kitchen to the living room.
“Well, are you going to come in or stand there and gawk at it?”
“Come look at the rest of the room.” Wooyoung smiled, waving Junho over.
He took a step forward, his pace a little quick.
“Yah Junho.”
He turned too quickly, falling against the wall, his fingertips brushing against the white paint. His eyes widened as he immediately pulled his hands away.
“Yah Khunnie, where did you get this guy? Do you not spoil him?”
'Khunnie?'
Nichkhun chuckled. “Actually I don't. Show him to his room or something... I need to call some people.”
Wooyoung grabbed Junho's arm, pulling him into the hallway. He opened the first door on his right, bright light flashing them as they both stepped in.
“This is your room.”
Even more beauty to behold. Junho wondered if he had just stepped into a dream. He quickly scanned Wooyoung, looking for some sort of imperfection.
Wooyoung sighed. “You're not dreaming... You work at a rich, top-class company. Were you really surprised to come here?”
“Actually I was... The boss just asked me the other day to accompany him...”
“The other day?” The older boy raised a brow. “How short notice... That wasn't very nice.”
“Wooyoung!” Nichkhun shouted from the living room.
“Coming!” He turned to Junho. “Just make yourself at home. Don't hesitate to call me okay?”
Junho nodded, watching Wooyoung disappear. He finally took another step into the room, more soft carpet greeting his toes as he stood in front of the window. His mouth fell open as he took in the sights. Tokyo was stunning.
“We've got a meeting in a couple hours.” Nichkhun said, suddenly standing next to Junho.”Don't be nervous. You don't have to do anything. I just need you and Wooyoung to stand behind me. If I need something, I'll just ask you and you can go and get it.”
“O-okay.”
The older boy patted Junho on the shoulder. “Why don't you get unpacked and settled in.”
“Yes sir.”
Nichkhun mumbled something about calling him by name as he left the younger boy. Junho closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. When he opened his eyes, he nodded and made work his number one priority.
~
Junho felt his hands grow sweaty and he resisted the urge to throw them into his pocket. How unprofessional like, he thought, clenching his fists at his side. His eyes went across the table, the Japanese men on the other side looked to be more professional, more serious. Junho tensed, feeling unskilled, improper and unrefined.
“Don't be so nervous.” Wooyoung whispered into his ear. “They aren't looking at you.”
Junho kept his posture straight and stiff. “I'm still representing the company.”
The older boy chuckled softly. “He's trained you well.”
“Huh?” Junho turned to Wooyoung, his loud outburst silencing the room.
Wooyoung had to turn away, covering his mouth with his hand to laugh. When Junho faced the room again, his eyes grew wide as he stepped back and went stiff as a board again. His eyes fell to the floor. He heard Nichkhun speak in Japanese and the board members had a small laugh. Junho could feel his cheeks turn a bright shade of red as they grew hot.
Junho kept his eyes to the floor, Nichkhun had occasionally asked him for things but nothing recently. As he took a breath, he heard Nichkhun's voice clearly and he raised his head. The older boy was looking at him and smiling. Junho blinked, afraid that he had missed something. Wooyoung gave him a polite shove and the younger boy stepped next to Nichkhun. The older boy began speaking in Japanese again, pointing to Junho.
“Look up.” Wooyoung whispered.
Junho blinked, raising his head to look at the businessman in front of him. The boy across the table smiled at him and he smiled back and nodded his head. The boy stood up, offering his hand.
“Hello Lee Junho.” He spoke in polite Korean. “My name is Doojoon Takahashi.”
Junho took the other man's hand, shaking it nervously. “I-it's nice to meet you.”
The boy known as Doojoon sat down, smiling and eyeing Junho. Wooyoung pulled him back and the two businessmen continued into their conversation. Junho had to the courage to keep his head up until Doojoon's eyes would meet his own, forcing him to look down at the floor.
The meeting ended and the businessmen all got up, shaking each other's hands and bowing. Wooyoung left his side as he went in search for Nichkhun, who disappeared around the room. Junho felt his nerves building up as a few of the Japanese associates passed by him, bowing and smiling.
He stood like a statue when Doojoon approached him.
“Hello Junho.”
Junho gave a formal bow. “Hello sir.”
“You'll have to forgive me but my Korean is a little bad. I can understand for the most part.” Doojoon chuckled. “My mother is Korean but my father is Japanese, so most of my studies have been here.”
Junho blinked and smiled, not sure how else to acknowledge this other man.
“If it is alright with you Junho, I'd like to take you around Tokyo. Show you some of the sights. Nichkhun has already OK-ed it.”
Junho swallowed, almost feeling forced into this deal. If he had said no, would their partnership turn sour? He bit his lip, causing Doojoon to chuckle.
“You don't have to say yes. It is just, your boss will be with Wooyoung tonight and I had thought you might not want to join them.”
The younger boy raised a brow.
Doojoon leaned forward, cupping his hand over his mouth. “Nichkhun and Wooyoung have a very... Close relationship. They have not seen each other in a while.”
Junho's eyes were wide as Doojoon moved away.
“I suppose he did not tell you this.”
He shook his head slowly, still in disbelief. His boss was gay?! His eyes shot to Nichkhun was was leaning over and listening to whatever Wooyoung was whispering to him, the older boy's arm around Wooyoung's waist.
Junho swallowed. “I'll join you.”
“Good!” Doojoon smiled, his shoulders jumping a bit.
~
“So you're not going to join us later, huh?” Nichkhun wrapped his arm around Junho's shoulders as they stood in their hotel elevator.
Junho blinked, not used to being so close to his boss.
“I gotta warn you though, Doojoon was looking mighty hard at you.”
“What does that mean?”
“It means watch yourself. He may try to keep you here in Japan, but I need you in Korea so don't be making any long-term plans with him.”
“I-I don't want to live here sir.”
“Good! So you've already got a date and you've only been here a couple of hours! Good for you Junho!”
~
Junho came out into the living room of their suite, a small pout on his face.
“What's up Junho?” Nichkhun asked, leaning over the couch.
He had never seen his boss act so relaxed and childish.
“I don't know what to wear tonight.”
“Just wear what you normally wear.”
“A suit?”
“No not that.” Nichkhun chuckled. “When you aren't working.”
Junho bit his lip. “I told you I didn't bring those type of clothes.”
“Oh right... Wooyoung! You guys are about the same size, take Junho to your house and get him some clothes.”
“U-uh, that's alright.”
Wooyoung smiled. “It's fine. It would be easier on all of us.”
~
“I feel really weird about this.” Junho said, standing in front of Wooyoung's closet.
“Don't be.”
“Do you do this all the time?”
“No...” Wooyoung scratched his head, looking the younger boy up and down before digging around in the closet. “Try this.”
The fox eyed boy pressed the shirt to Junho's chest.
“Mm, maybe not.”
This indecisiveness went on for another 20 minutes before Wooyoung finally decided on an outfit.
“Now go put these on.”
Wooyoung's phone rang and he ran to it.
“I'll be right back.”
Junho looked at the clothes and biting his lip. They looked too expensive. He shrugged, not seeing any other option as he stripped off his clothes.
“Yeah we picked out an outfit... Shut up okay, he's not that easy to decide on.” Wooyoung blushed. “I'm not that amazing...”
He turned as he heard footsteps behind him.
“Uh...” He said into the phone.
“Um, the pants don't fit.”
“They don't fit? How do they not fit?”
Junho turned around in his briefs, presenting his fully round behind.
“Hm, how did I miss that before?.... Your assistant's large ass.” Wooyoung spoke into the phone. “No he's not naked you idiot... Shut up, that's not my style. I'll talk to you later.”
He hung up the phone, coming close to Junho.
“This ass of yours might be a problem. I doubt any of my pants will fit you...”
“I could just wear my work pants.”
“Hm, I have a better idea.”
Wooyoung told him to stay put as he disappeared for another 20 minutes.
“Put these on.” He said as he stepped into the room with a pair of pants.
Junho slipped into the pants, the back fitting his rear nicely.
“Hm, not bad... Though they do make your ass a bit more prominent.”
~
Junho paced the penthouse, putting track marks in the carpet.
“Jesus Junho, you'd think you were going to meet your wife for your arranged marriage.”
He suddenly stopped, feet sticking to the carpet. “I've... Never been on a date with an important person before.”
“You've been on a date with a girl haven't you? Don't you have friends that you hang out with?”
Junho looked at the older boy, his face saying “when would I have time?”.
“You had a life before work didn't you? You'll be fine, relax.”
The phone rang and before Wooyoung could get up, Nichkhun snatched it.
“Hello?... Yes I'll send him right down.” He hung up the phone. “Your dates here.” He smirked.
“I'm not feeling well.”
Nichkhun laughed as he got up from the couch. He grabbed Junho's shoulders, pushing him into the elevator and hitting the close button.
Junho squatted in the elevator, thinking he was going to be sick. The elevator dinged opened and he looked out. Doojoon was standing in the lobby with his head tilted.
“Are you okay?”
“Fine.” Junho jumped to his feet. “There was uh, dust on my shoe.”
The older boy nodded. “Ah, I see... You look very nice out of suit.”
“Thank you.”
“Shall we go?”
Junho nodded, following Doojoon out the door. The older boy had a sense of style yet still kept his appearance streetwise. Junho felt like he fit in with Wooyoung's choice of clothing.
~
Their so-called date had gone quite well and Junho was even more amazed at how beautiful the busy nightlife of Tokyo was.
“I hope you don't mind but I ordered sushi.”
Junho smiled. He had never actually had sushi before he was sure it didn't taste that bad. He watched as plates of food were brought out to them. His stomach growled, the food at least was appetizing to his eyes.
. . .
“Are you okay?” Doojoon asked, knocking on the door to the bathroom.
“Fine.” Junho coughed, spitting into the toilet.
He pressed his cheek against the cold seat, closing his eyes. Apparently the food did not agree with his stomach. He suddenly felt tired, his body feeling like it was filled with lead. He tensed as someone lift him the from the floor, wrapping their arm around his waist and pulling his arm around their neck. He was carried out of the bathroom and into another room and set onto a bed. He felt like he was in heaven, the soft, feathery feel of the sheets beneath him felt like clouds. Junho could hear a faint voice.
“...Yeah he'll be stay here tonight.... Bad food... Haha I apologize...Yeah...”
He buried his head into the fluffy pillow, the voice drowning out. He felt completely relaxed despite the state he was in only moments ago. He felt the bed dip but ignored it, thinking it best for sleep to come.
Junho shivered, suddenly feeling a chill over his chest. He opened his eyes, gluing them to Doojoon, who was unbuttoning his shirt.
“W-what are you...”
“You can't sleep in that... I have some more comfortable clothes for you to sleep in.”
“Why am I sleeping here?”
“Because I think it is best.” The older boy finished with Junho's shirt. “Sit up.”
Being obedient, Junho sat up as Doojoon pulled his shirt off. He shivered, almost too tired to cover up his chest. Why wasn't he wearing a muscle shirt underneath? He didn't remember. He didn't care now because Doojoon was slipping his arms through a silk top. He did up the buttons for him too before he leaned the younger boy back on the bed.
Junho shivered as the cold silk pressed against his skin. He closed his eyes again, thinking it was over until he felt a tug on his pants. Doojoon's hands moved too quickly as he unbuckled and unzipped his pants and ripped them off, giving Junho no time to protest.
“H-hey!”
“Relax... It's not like I'm going to do anything...”
He grabbed for the pajama bottoms, sliding each one of Junho's legs through and pulled them up his hips. Doojoon paused, hitting a snag from underneath. He got between Junho's legs, leaning over and slipping his hands under the younger boy's ass.
“Lift your hips.”
Junho raised his hips off the bed, pressing his crotch into Doojoon's chest. The older boy pulled the waistband over Junho's rear and snapped it around his hips. Junho let his hips fall back onto the bed.
“There. Was that so hard?”
“I could've gotten changed by myself.” The younger boy frowned.
Doojoon leaned forward, straddling Junho. “Can't you just accept being pampered for once?” He poked the younger boy's nose.
“For once?”
The older boy smiled. “I'm sure Nichkhun doesn't pamper you.”
“He's my boss... I'm just an employee.”
Doojoon frowned. “That's no reason to not pamper you. He should give you a raise... You know, if you worked for me, you'd be pampered all the time.”
“I'm not sure I'd want that...”
“What? Working for me or being pampered all the time.”
“Both?”
The older boy chuckled. “You never know. You may like it, if you gave it a chance.”
“I'd rather live and work in Korea...”
“Even for a couple months?”
Junho raised a brow, wondering what he could achieve in a couple of months.
“Alright. I get it.” Doojoon smiled. “Is there someone back home for you?”
He blinked, his eyes then growing wide as the first person that popped into his head was that idiot college student.
“No...”
“No?”
“I mean yes!”
“Yes?” The older boy smirked.
“I have two people...” Junho suddenly remembered Junsu and Taecyeon, they'd miss him wouldn't they?
“Ah... But I sense you're lying.”
Junho swallowed.
“See when you said no... You were thinking of one person specifically.”
“I was thinking of my cat.”
“A cat is not a person Junho.” Doojoon leaned his weight against the younger boy.
“H-he is to me.”
The older boy shook his head. “I don't think so. So you do have someone special at home.”
“No... I mean... Not really...”
“How so?”
“He's just... An acquaintance.”
“A what?”
“An acquaintance.” Junho repeated as if Doojoon hadn't heard him.
The older boy gave him a look of confusion when Junho suddenly remembered that Doojoon was not Korean, despite his speech being good up till now.
“I know him... But he's not my friend.”
“Ah... I see now. He's still someone special to you though, isn't he?”
“He owes me new pants.”
Doojoon raised a brow before he chuckled. “I see...”
He inhaled, rising to his knees and rolling off the bed.
“Get a good nights sleep Junho. I'll take you back tomorrow.”
Doojoon smiled before he left the room, turning off the light. The darkness, however, didn't make Junho sleepy at all. The small talk with the older boy suddenly had him thinking. How could he have just called Chansung an acquaintance when the taller boy had showed up to his apartment with a meal? He didn't even ask Junho to pay for half. Chansung was even there every day after work to greet him.
Junho scrambled out of bed and whipped open his door.
“Something wrong?” Doojoon asked, coming from the kitchen.
“He's not an acquaintance... He's a friend... A good friend.”
The older boy smiled. “That's good to know Junho, now go back to bed. Your friend will be upset if you didn't have a full nights rest.”
Junho blushed, feeling embarrassed about his suddenly outburst. “R-right. Goodnight.”
He closed the door, climbing back into bed and pulling the sheets to his neck.
Chansung was his friend... A friend... That tall, stupid, dopy college student. Junho smiled, rolling over in the bed and closing his eyes.
“My friend.”
