Summary: Sungmin is feeling unnoticed and unloved. Does Super Junior still love him?
Author's Note: First Suju fic... Be gentle with me ^^; Also title is lame... Because it was a quick thought because I forgot I didn't have one.
Sungmin walked stepped out of his doorway, peering into the living room. His bandmates were all huddled around the tv, none of them looking up to notice his presence. It had been like this for the passed couple days too. Nothing had changed. Sungmin sighed, going back to his room. He changed into his pink pjs, little yellow ducks decorating them, and jumped into bed. He cuddled one of the stuffed bears a fan had given him and fell asleep. His eyes fluttered open to complete darkness. By the soft breathing he heard around the room, he figured everyone else had gone to bed. He rose from his, clutching his bear as he softly crept out of the room. He let the door lightly click before he turned around to head for the kitchen.
"Ah hyung..."
Sungmin jumped, holding the stuffed animal tightly. "Oh Siwon... You scared me."
"Everything okay?" Siwon asked, eyeing the Teddy bear being tightly held.
Sungmin nodded.
"You went to bed early so I thought something was wrong."
Sungmin smiled softly, bowing his head. No one had been paying any attention to him for the past couple days. Or so he thought.
"Hyung, come here."
Sungmin looked up to see Siwon waving him over. Without a second thought, the smaller boy made his way into the dark living room. He plopped down on the floor but Siwon pulled him into his lap. Sungmin yelped as the bigger man wrapped his arms around him, resting his chin on the smaller's head.
"There is something wrong, isn't there?"
Sungmin only responded by burying his face into Siwon's chest. The taller man held him close.
"What's bothering you Minnie?"
Sungmin sniffled. "No one notices me."
Siwon felt Sungmin shift in his lap.
"No one wants to play with me. Eunhyuk is always with Donghae. Yesung is always with Ryeowook. And Kyuhkyun is always playing by himself." Sungmin's breath hitched.
Weren't they always like this? Siwon thought. He had never really thought about the others. He hadn't really watched them.
Sungmin suddenly wrapped his arms around the taller man's neck, tugging it down.
"Am I annoying Siwon? Do I try to act cute too much? Does it get bothersome? I bet everyone likes to be more serious than I am." Sungmin bowed his head. "That's why no one likes me."
Siwon lifted Sungmin's chin, forcing the smaller boy to look up. "That's not true at all. Everyone likes you Sungmin. Don't think for a second that we don't like you. We all love you."
Sungmin felt his eyes sting again as a tear fell down his cheek. Siwon rubbed it away with his thumb, pressing his lips to the smaller's forehead.
"Hyung, Siwon, what are you guys still doing up?" Eunhyuk came into the room, rubbing his eyes. "You should be sleeping."
Sungmin looked at the younger man, his eyes glistening as the hallway light hit them. With an instant, Eunhyuk was on his knees in front of his hyung.
"What's the matter? Are you okay?"
Sungmin sniffled, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand. "Everything's okay now."
Eunhyuk reached out for Sungmin's hand, pulling it to him and rubbing it softly. "Are you sure you're okay?"
Sungmin hesitated for a moment before reaching his arms out in front of Eunhyuk. The younger pulled his hyung into his arms, hugging him tightly. His eyes met Siwon as the taller man shook his head.
"Sungmin... Is there anything I can do?" Eunhyuk asked, rubbing the older man's back.
Sungmin closed his arms tighter around Eunhyuk. "Just... Acknowledge me..."
Eunhyuk raised a brow, not fully understanding the situation. Siwon reached out, poking his nose.
"We didn't notice Sungmin today. He's upset because he thinks we forgot about him."
Eunhyuk's eyes widened as he pulled Sungmin back, the older's arms remained wrapped around his neck. The oldest bowed his head and the smaller man placed his hands on Sungmin's cheek, raising his head.
"We could never forget about you. You mean the world to us. I... I'm sorry if we seemed too busy to notice you. We really love you Sungmin."
Sungmin sniffled again, this time a tear fell and dripped off his cheek.
"Don't cry hyung. I really do mean it."
"I know." Sungmin cried through a whisper. "It just sounds really nice to hear."
Eunhyuk leaned forward, placing a soft kiss on Sungmin's cheek, pressing their foreheads together as he smiled.
"I promise to play with you more."
Sungmin sniffled. "Won't Donghae be upset?"
Eunhyuk chuckled and shook his head. "I'm sure Donghae would love for you to join us. He loves you just as much as I do."
"You're right about that."
Donghae appeared behind Eunhyuk, causing a shadow to grow over them. Sungmin giggled, Donghae's head blocked out the light.
"You look like an angel with the light behind you like that." Siwon said.
"I am an angel." Donghae put his hands on his hips proudly.
Eunhyuk chuckled, leaning into Sungmin.
"What are you laughing at? It's true. I make up for your naughty behavior."
"And me?" Sungmin asked, silencing the room with one line.
Donghae leaned over Eunhyuk, caressing Sungmin's cheeks in his hands.
"You're our adorable hyung, who keeps us smiling even in our dreams."
Sungmin smiled, his tears drying on his face, making it awkward to move with cheeks.
"Hey... What are my babies doing out of bed?" Leeteuk was now standing in the room.
Eunhyuk and Donghae scrambled to their feet, Siwon helped Sungmin up off the floor. The two grabbed Sungmin and ran off to their room, leaving Siwon to deal with their leader. Siwon received a brow raise and crossed arms.
"Well.... What are you still doing up?"
Siwon smiled, slipping his arm around Leeteuk's waist. "Waiting for you to come get me."
"Tch.." Leeteuk's lip twitched. "Well... I'm here now... Let's go to bed."
"Certainly."
Siwon smiled, scooping up the leader into his arms and carrying him off to bed.
