i know! the house also had a pear tree, but they all fell and rotted before i got back. there's a fig tree on albina further down, and i found persimmons somewhere between my house and vita (good luck to me finding it again!) but man. the fruit trees in portland really make it worthwhile.

we've got apples and grapes in abundance in our yard right now, you'd be welcome to pick some!

I saw those in Seattle all over the place. I think they are officially called Italian Prunes.
