i finally ran out of patience and went off of lithium. the fear came flooding back to me, all at once it seemed; but i missed it like a friend or lover long departed and unmourned. i had become so complacent and so bland this last year, and it all happened so innocuously that i hardly noticed. i've been having the whole gamut of emotions as of late
