Written for the prompt Circle.

“Hey, ‘Lai?”

“Hm?” Baralai didn’t look up from his paperwork, scribbling furiously with ink-stained hands, his eyes intent on the papers. There were times when Gippal couldn’t believe how very dedicated he was.

“D’you still have those nightmares?” Had Gippal been looking

Sneaky, sneaky Baralai! You did very well at writing the conversation in a circle. Great job.

(I notice you have a preoccupation with ink on Baralai's hands -- it's a visual you've put in both ficlets. Perhaps do something with that image?

I do have some sort of fixation with Baralai and ink stains. And yet, somehow, I have no idea what to do with the image. I just can't get it out of my head. I don't know why I like it so much.

*shakes head* I am very strange sometimes.
