So my dear sweet kitty cat buddy, was taken to the doctor yesterday due to rapid weight loss, and heavy breathing, we kinda figured it was heart disease, well it was and now the vet wants us to get some tests done that will cost us 1300, so like any normal person I contact my pet insurance people and give them the situation and begin to ask about

If you had the insurance before they diagnosed him, they should be required to pay for it. We had the same issue with my dog Iggy at one point. They tried to pull the same excuse and we argued it with them. I could understand if we found out Iggy had something wrong with him and then went and got insurance, but we had the insurance for over a year before he started having back issues. They did end up covering it.
