I came out at 15 and started physically transitioning at 16. I'll be 21 in 20 days and for the past couple of years I've felt very ~over it~, so to speak. I've found it easy to forget that I'm trans, generally speaking (though it's always at the back of your mind -- I suspect it is for most of us) and I haven't really concerned myself much with the ( Read more... )

Have you thought about asking your endo to make your T dose as minimal as possible to stop the bleeding? Also, have you considered birth control that will stop the bleeding? I see a lot of guys throwing around Depo shots but I'm not quite sure on that end.

Also, "physical androgyny of a male appearing body", fuck yea. I know exactly how you feel. I see and feel myself to be male (forgetting I was FAAB sometimes) and thus like the androgyny and appearing 'female' at times with the whole "oh wait, shit that's a dude".

But yea, I share the sentiment with some of these things. Maybe I will be able to share it more when I, hopefully, start T next month. Just remember it's your body and you do with it what you want to do with it.

I wish you luck figuring things out.... having never been in a similar situation I have no advice or stories to share. But that may not be what you're looking for anyway.

Whatever you land on, you'll always be a cool/fun/talented/nice person! :3

if your intent is make a couple with Arpad in the future I think that the only issue your struggling with is the physical issue of menustrating and that reminding you of your femininity.

Ultimately its your decision but if you feel that this continual reminder of your birth born sex is troubling you and preventing you from embracing what your trying to become then yes I think you should go back on T just for peace of mind.
