My username is diraskyria because it's the name of one of the Arynethian goddess. Please don't make me go into detail about my little Otherkin stint. Let's just simply state that she's the bad-ass one that wants to be more powerful than the others, but had a propency for screwing things up. I like her.

Laura Elizabeth because my mom loved Laura Ingles Wilder. Skylie because, when I was eleven, I thought Laura was a stupid name and started calling myself something else. Almost 15 years later, both have kind of stuck.

The name means "Distorted Beauty," in true translation, which is said to be because of the giant ass scar down her face, but is also some deeper sort of take on how what one might perceive as evil is just what another's perception of beauty...distorted.

"People I Know (But Do They Know Me?)" because I'm kind of a stalker. XD And I've always been a shy person, so I have a lot of people on my friends list who I find interesting and like reading about, but I don't really know if they'd feel even slightly as interested as me.

CACTUS!!!!! It's the Cactus from Legend of Mana. To save your game, you go and you talk to the cactus in your room, and then, when you leave, he gets out of his pot to dash across the room to write it all in a journal! It's awesome. Sekrit Journal Cactus is Sekrit. And makes him a good journal icon. I miss that game...
