so i went to athens today to say good bye to Ms. Bellet *she's retiring one year earlier*, and it was so hard..for both of us. I'm not sure why, but i guess since she was one of the very few teachers i could go and talk to, along w/ believing that i can do something great. She bequeathed me a present from her collection too: "The Complete Idiot's

Mr. Hunter is retiring? :( That's sad. I always wanted to go back there and give him some pictures of a place he talked about in class. Several people had done that before and I thought it would be something cool to give him in the future showing he had an effect on me. Now I can't, that sucks.

Ms. Bellet? I don't think she ever really liked me much. Or perhaps it was I who didn't like her much. There were a couple of times I think she was proud of me though. When I read a poem in class she was very surprised it was any good. lol. When I did my family presentation and put my hair in a pony tale she was very surprised that I could look good or something (she said something like that). Then the next year when my hair was cut she told me how good I looked. She was very surprised...I don’t know... I like my long hair:(

Anyway, sad to hear the news.

Yes Mr. Hunter is retiring...it's sad. Actually a lot of teachers at athens are retiring, and some are on maternity leave as well. i know some teachers are going to be at athens on monday morning to finish up grades i believe..but i am not too sure if mr. hunter will be there or not...i would try early monday morning if you want to give it a shot.
