Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're saying that 10% of the time people use the n-word around you it's funny and not offensive?

The school I teach at is 95% African-American and I hear that particular word 50 times per day. If you ask me there is no excuse for it to ever be used, regardless of your race or intention. It's on the same level as fag and you don't hear gay men calling each other that word in casual conversation, much less non-gay people using it in a way that could be considered offensive.

I think there are probably some joking scenarios where people are very aware of what they're saying where it can be okay, same with fag, but I agree that they're at least few and far between.

I'm a bit conflicted on the whole though, as I don't feel that words should hold so much hate, and we need to find a way to diffuse them.

It's actually not. :P It's a counter to people who assume that gay people are too in touch with women to be misogynistic.

Alot of the best Furry artists are female =p off the top of my head some of the most succesful are female, and while I dont know their sexual oreintation most of them draw all of the above M/F , M/M, F/F. But every picture cant please everybody =p Id suggest browsing FA for the next 0.2 seconds it takes to find Pr0N that satisfyies your needs lol honestly
