The need and want to help others often undermines my want to put myself first in places. This is why I always end up covering everybody's shifts at work for them. Recently, it's putting me under a lot of pressure and is going to make me do something I'm probably going to regret; BUT if it works out I can probably make a lot of people happy

I went through most of my personal and school life doing things for other people for little or nothing, mostly a kick in the teeth. I'd probably be very wary of others doing the same in a job all the time.
