Okay, so I'm taking a Japanese class, and I'd like to be exposed more to the language between classes, which is a good way to learn. I mean, if I only talk and hear Japanese one a week in the class, and english 24/7, it'll be hard, right

Bands....ehhhh, depending on what type of music you like, I might be able to help you.

There's SamboMaster and Kagrra if you like rock (Kagrra is more of a symphonic rock)
Orange Range if you like R&B/ a bit of hip hop. (my fav song by them would be "Thank You"

My all-time favorite anime? Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Trigun, Grenadier, FLCL... those are the ones that come to mind first..

The only japanese bands I've heard are The Pillows, Ayumi Hamasaki, and Hikaru Utada.
