So I'm going to talk about something serious now.  A few years ago my mom was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.  This has been a very difficult thing to deal with in our family.  My mom is doing as well as can be expected, but seeing the slow mental and physical deterioration of your own mother is not

I'm really sorry about your mom. I know all too well how tough it is watching something like this happen to your parent far too early.
