I asked life in general to close the door on 2005 and leave all the shit there. I told myself that 2006 was going to be more than I imagined and I wanted to have no cobwebs coming into 2006. The thing about life is there is always lessons and forceful times of looking at scarier parts of your archetype

The thing about good opportunities is exactly what you said, they aren't eveyone's "good opportunity."

If you have a dream, follow it. I don't think you are afraid of commitment, Kathy. I think you are just afraid of commitment on someone else's terms. You've commintted to a dream and a passion. Go for it...things will work out. I mean, you'll have a rough go of things every once and a while, but it won't feel as horrible as being in a job that has stability, but no passion.

I suppose this advice goes for relationships too...

Kathy, just follow your gut and do what's best for you, and also what's right for you. You've never struck me as the person who goes into a job from 9-5, gets their paycheque and goes home...I think you need more than that. You have your whole life to settle down and do something safe, but its worth it to try and follow your dreams right now. The same job may not be waiting for you down the road, but some other one will. No one wants to live with regrets, so make sure you follow your heart and do what will make you happy, if even for a little while.
