LJ sez:  "You've only made 2 friends."   Yeah. Poor me.

Now if the television told me I only have two friends,  I'd be obligated as an American citizen to (1)  believe it  and (2)  go out and buy something in its honor.

P.S.  What the fuck is wrong with Juve?

Did you watch Juve? What did Melo do? I hear bad things. Things like trying to kill a baby Sienaian with his elbow, and getting into it with Juve fans. As if his Juve life wasn't fraught enough.

And, in answer to your question, it seems what is wrong with Juve is Grygera. That's what the Juve Offside comments say, anyway -- just get rid of him, and everything will be fine!

When I saw Chimenti during the pre-match lineup in the tunnel, I thought, oh crap. It's over. Mr. D told me to buck up ( ... )

Where is Manninger?! Did Everton hurt him? Do they not know that's unacceptable? Was the bald guy bad, or simply Grygera's unfortunately victim?

It all sounds quite awful -- I'm very sorry you and Mr. D had to sit through it. After ADP's goals, I mean, because I'm sure that was quite delightful. And I saw Candreva's goal -- did I not tell you he was awesome? Boy can play. I did not realize Siena were dead last, what is up with the allegedly "best" teams in Serie A this week? Cripes.

Are there any baby fullbacks who could get a chance in the team, perhaps? Do you guys still own any of Criscito, or has that ship sailed?

And thank you for your reports on Melo, I feel better -- the Fiorentina fan sites are all says he's going to get banned via video evidence for the elbow, though they don't care about the fan thing.

I'm not sure how Manninger got hurt, poor baby. *pats his rosy cheeks* Chimenti wasn't bad really, considering he's a 39-year-old third keeper who hasn't played since September. Candreva took a little while to show us what he has, but he's been doing very well the last few weeks. I wonder if they're going to keep him.

I can't think of any fullbacks at all. The only babies we have who are ready are strikers. I don't have any idea what happened to Paolucci, who was supposed to be so great, but he's not a fullback anyway. It seems our star fullback is Fabio Grosso, a glorious beloved hero from days of yore but, you know.

FM getting banned? Maybe I didn't get a good look but jeez. He brings a lot on himself, but he doesn't get many breaks either, at least not this year.

I forgot the good news: Gianluca Curci was resplendent in his beautiful cerulean kit.
