A lot of times I've sat there and thought about how I wanted to go back in time and relive an amazing moment but like you said once you replayed it enough the magic that was once there would be gone. I also think this would be true if you fastforward to an amazing event that would end up from a situation. Because its like once you get to that moment you know thats going to happen so there would be no suprise and no magic. Also, even though I'd like to know what is going to come out of things I do and whatev a lot of times not knowing and all the experiances make you grow as a person. Especially the bad ones, the make you stronger, wiser, and a better person in my mind. By chosing a different path everyone would be a lot weaker, and yes, maybe happier, but I'd rather live by not knowing whats going to happen next and just living in the moment than having a perfect life.
