I couldn't help but notice how these journals aren't exactly journals. At least that's how people are using them. They post pictures, talk about their day, bash people, etc. I rarely have pictures of myself. I don't photograph well, never have. Not to mention I'm not exactly a beauty queen. I don't do anything interesting, unless you call ( Read more... )

I have 2 journals actually, one is to interact with other people (i.e this one) and the other is a private journal saved just for myself.

I used to use my journal for putting down my feelings and such and then I just got tired of so many people knowing so much about me. I changed my writing format to be much more shallow ie. what I did that day, what I am doing that weekend, etc. I guess that if I wanted to actually write in a journal the way that you are meant to write in one I would have to make one that no one could see the entries. Hope you figure out what to write :\

*points up*
I used to just keep my journal for personal reasons years ago, but then I realized that people actually read it. So I started posting more private things in private entries.

I don't know what you should write, but let me say that your icon is hot!! Who needs a journal with substance when you have an icon like that :p

I wanted to write something on it, but I couldn't think of anything to go along with it. Have any ideas?

It really just boils down to what you want to do with your journal.

Personally, I see it as a means of recording what's going on in my life for any given space of time. Whether or not it's something that happened during the day which I find personally interesting, or how I feel about something, etc. That's caused drama before, and I've had to mark entries as private at some points, but that's how I use mine.
For some it's just a message board, others it's more of an idea board, some more of a journal, and others use it as a diary...
