Joanna for the win! And the thought of Vulcan terrorists is *scary*, because you know they're too logical to get caught, and too logical to care about innocents. (And part of me wonders, could Sybok be the leader?)

Ooh, that was great! I really missed more chemistry btwn Spock/McCoy in XI and you've given it to me! And you fit in Weepy!Spock with a lyre AND camping??? You rock. :D

Yeah, the movie needed more chemistry there, but then I guess their friendship is a slowly-building one, and they'd just met in the movie. There was some "are you out of your Vulcan mind?" and some "damnit man, I'm a doctor not a physicist!" but for the most part, the movie was all about the massive sexual tension between Kirk and Spock. Maybe in the next movie it'll have developed into the OT3 we all know and love?

Awww, loved this. Can't decide what I love best, Spock sitting with his "guitar/harp" thing and McCoy helping him with the breakup because he had been there (and I can see the crying, I think that with this being Spock's first relationship and enough alcohol involved it could happen) or the camping trip with Joanna. I hope you write more in this pairing

Thanks! I was thinking of writing a continuation of the ending. It's kind of nice that this ended with them as friends, but I'd like to write the transition from friends to lovers as well (or at least cuddle buddies. My personal fanon: McCoy needs a hug).
