Contact (Happy Late Birthday Aiden)

Dec 04, 2009 14:11

This is a (late) birthday present for monsieurbleu - this was gonna be lighthearted cuddling or something and then I remembered that Bones is surly and doesn't do cuddling, and Jim is fucked up and probably doesn't do cuddling either. But I still think it's adorable, even if I made it emo and awkward.

Awww!! I love how they're both too messed up to remark on the hug or know what to say or even kiss after. So very *them*.

I hate it when people say things like this but I'm going to have to say: OH BOYS <3

Thanks for reading :)

It's not emo or awkward (well, no more than either of the guys are awkward.) It's got perfect voices.

It is adorable because it is beautifully, realistically, emo and awkwards.

Yeah, I didn't really think that statement through, did I? Fangirls love the emotionally awkward :p

Glad you liked <3

Perfectly painful. I could see the shock on Chapel's face when the glass hit the wall.

Poor Chapel. She suffers through so much. I was gonna have her "scurry" out of sickbay, but I changed it to "marched" when I realised that she would not stand for his shit.

Thanks for reading ^__^

Lovely because it's not too sweet and life is sometimes painful without a happy ever after. Loved the awkwardness of the hug and how they weren't quite sure what to say to each other because sometimes the right words just aren't there.

Thank you! Yes, that's exactly what I was getting at. Hugs are there for the moments when there are no words.
