people are really in panic mode about this election's outcome. i really don't like the fact that bush is president anymore then the next person, but i'm pretty sure the world isn't about to end ( Read more... )

erm. if so many people are opposed to bush (the great majority of the people i talk to are), then how did he win?.
or maybe i only choose to socialize with non-bushes.
um. ill shutup now.

that's a completely valid question. it really sounded like the majority of america was standing against bush, but i think he's got a strong, strong support in the south and that's a large part of the states so that might be why he won.

plus, the youth vote was lacking sadly.

i think there were just more democratic supporters in the media so everyone thought that was the majority vote.

i dunno honestly. i'm not really into politics period. this is just what i gather.

were you a pro-bush or pro-kerry person?

it sorta pissed me off very much that so many people voted because of morality. i understand religion & ethics & stuff are very important in many peoples lives, but it should not be part of our government.
this country was pretty much founded so we could have a freedom of belief, & they're taking those rights away?

um. i'd be pro-nader, if i thought he had any real chance of making it into office or carrying out his goals. i'm very into the environment. (not because he'd legalize pot).
but since yea, i guess i'm pro-kerry.

happy early birthday! lots of kisses from my paul banks lookalike friend (ha, sorry best i could do) planning your own party should be against the law also, buying your own cake, pinata and everything (yes i had a piñata).

omfg. i want to see franz ferdinand so badly (and everytime slow hands comes on on tv, i remember you and envy you so so bad) they're coming to mexico like december 7, but like 12 hours and 300 dollars away from me. i cant go =(

and i agree with you so much on the elections, im not american, but we're right under the us and that alot of time, decisions do affect us and concur with you saying that kerry had a radical campaign, besides all this people that were pro kerry were like, not necessarily conservator(sp?) people. i bet most of the adults voted for bush, and yeah, there's nothing that can be done about it anymore.
