ok so this will qualify as my lamest one-year-closer-to-death day get-together EVER, but as much as i'd like to pretend like i don't have birthdays anymore, i'd love to see some friends and share in some of my favourite films on a large screen, even if we have to hang out in a damned hospital!

I will definitely be coming and I will make sure Tick Tock comes too :) I get off work at 7pm though, so it'll probably be 7:30pm before we can leave the house.

this pleases me greatly!! you guys should be able to make most of lady snowblood [i'll give you a recap when you 2 get there] and all of true romance [have either of you 2 seen it?]...i'll have some pop and popcorn etc but please bring some forms of snacks to share if you can but if not, no biggie :) i'm just SO HAPPY you guys are coming to my uber-lame "party"!!!!

I will bring something, I wish I could bring something better but I'm in a rut in a big way.

Also, I just feel bad I haven't came to see you more! I'm just in such a hole myself...It sounds selfish cause I know that you are going through worse, but it's hard to be a good friend when you have lost yourself. Anyways we will definitely make it! And like I said I just feel like a jerk for not being around more.

I have seen true romance, not sure about tom.

hey know i get stuck in a hole, trust me....this thing has pretty much broken me emotionally but i'm so close to walking now that i'm digging my way out, slowly and painfully, but just being up in what they call a 'standing machine' and making plans for work on the parallel bars is enough to patch the cracks and keep my shaking walls together...and the more i work at walking the better i'll get up here *taps head, so i know trust me i know...so no bad feelings, i'm just so happy you're able to come thursday ok? that's a great b-day gift as far as i'm concerned :)

I have never seen Lady Snowblood but Adam Lewis illuded to this movie more than once whenever the Kill Bill trailers flashed anywhere. I'm super curious! I'll have to see if I can hunt up a copy.

I totally agree with you about the fact that True Romance is truly romantic. Gary Oldman is awesome, even if he never gets off the couch for the five minutes he's in the film.
