But to start...go to Manage (at the top) and under that customize.
For subscribing...go to manage and under that friends. You have to type in the name of the friends that you want. Then all their entries should be in your "friend's" page. You might have to push a link that has something like "activate friend's page" or something. To view profiles, just clilck their link. I know it's a lot different, and I'm probably confusing the HECK out of you, cause I'm confusing the heck out of me....any more questions...just give them to me, and I'll try to be more helpful!
