A week or so ago, I sent out emails and postings to all of my friends and family asking for donations for surgery.  This was really difficult for me and very scary.  Asking for help has never been easy for me, accepting it has always been harder.  Asking for money, forget it.  That has always been the most difficult

I am proud of you and so happy for you. It's amazing process to let down our protective guard and ask for help. It's amazing more that generosity births itself in the most unlikely of places.
