choosing my confessions

ok, 'thoughts right now'...

people get so upset when they are made aware that someone has been judging who they are based on what they look like. everyone does it, we have to do it, and as long as it doesn't lead to any sort of hate or discrimination or yucky things like that, then it's very normal and informative. (have i discredited myself by using the word "yucky"?) but i think that the problem people have with it is that what if the other person is right? what if you really can glean information about others from what they are wearing or what they look like? that would be a gross invasion of privacy! need i say more? anyway.... take that or leave it, but that's one thing about the internet that is nifty. hehe... nifty....

i am all too often enraged by the misuse of apostrophes in the world today. it's [it is] bad enough that i see them misused in, say, the journals of little girls. but to see a mistake involving an apostrophe on a sign in a high school leading into the change room, (girl's and boy's -- apparently just for one of them at a time) or in a published and supposedly edited document like a newspaper is alarming and very very irritating.
apostrophes are just the beginning. oh yes. don't people have to go to school or something where they are supposed to learn these things before they go into the work force?
don't even think of pointing out my lack of proper capital use. that's different. i'm not ignorant, i'm just lazy. there is a difference.

i am also relieved that my local movie theatre, sensitive to the development of young minds, has decided to strictly enforce the R rating and subsequent age restrictions for the film Kill Bill. Being but a mere 17 years old, i need the month and 1/2 until i am 18 years of age to fully mature enough in my mental development to handle the graphic nature of the film.
i would also like to extend warm thanks to whoever decided that i am old enough to drive, but not vote, and when i am old enough to vote, i can't buy alcohol for another year. because that decision cannot be left to mere 18 year olds.
THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH
